As they should be. Shocked at the people defending the place on here. We’re here for weekend 2 so will post thoughts after. Should obviously clarify we were here for weekend 1 too!

Honestly - I feel like I can’t disagree more. The quality of the gigs in the city has always been decent it’s just that there are clearly way too many tickets (if I had to estimate - maybe 30% more than 2019). Queues for every show tonight that we tried were ridiculous. Won’t bother again next few days we might as well enjoy the Barcelona night life.

The Sunday gigs have never been as busy as yesterday. Whole festival has been completely oversold

Oh my fucking god - their Instagram says only 66k in yesterday and capacity is 95k…… this is a disaster waiting to happen

So much THIS. I cannot fathom how there are no corridors, crash barriers etc. And the next two days usually have more day tickets sold…. This has got disaster written all over it. We will be at the back for any gig there.

Just woke up and so incredibly disappointed, I don’t understand how they can solve this. It’s clearly been oversold massively & even with adding 3x the bar staff it won’t solve the capacity issue. I cannot BELIEVE there are not barriers at that main stage set up - feels like an accident waiting to happen. To the person who said that it felt uncomfortable arriving for Faye Webster I couldn’t agree more. Should be the normal sleepy chill set of the festival & already felt like something was wrong. I hate to say it too but the atmosphere is totally different - where have all the a-holes appeared from? I really hope they solve issues by weekend 2 but I am struggling to think what they do. We will be completely changing our plans today to just stay away from the main stage areas. I cannot fathom what they have done to that bit;

Oh my fucking god. 6th year at the festival but the worst day at any festival ever. Absolutely horrendous. They’ve completely broken it. - too many people (maybe 20% too much) - two main stages causing ridiculous congestion - bar queues - toilet situation - water (lack of)
