  1. Definitely not alone! My main tip would be not to go too hard too fast. Build things up slowly. I've managed over 10k steps 2 days in the last week which would have been unthinkable a year ago.
  2. Now I've got a volunteering place I need to get myself fit! Long covid followed by removal of a cancerous kidney in 2022 knocked my fitness massively. But I'm up to 7k steps a day with no issue and did 13k on Saturday and was fine. So will start ramping up the walking and I've started doing 10min cardio sessions on Mrs Hew's FIIT app each morning.

I've got my application in for WBC through the charity I did it for in 2016. Just got to wait and see now 🙂 Anyone know where they were camped last year? I know there's no guarantees it'll be the same place.
  6. Adding to my initial Spiritualized: Hobos for me too in various random places 🙂 Elbow - Pyramid, Other, Guardian Lounge Dreadzone - Various dance tents over the years Ozric Tentacles - Pyramid, Avalon and others I can't remember Levellers - Pyramid, Jazz World, Glade. I'm sure more will come to me
  7. Was talking about Spiritualized earlier and someone asked which stages I've seen them on. From memory it's 3 stages, Other, Park and John Peel. Who have you seen on 3 or more stages and which ones?
  8. Agreed, I loved it! Much harder to pull off these days due to the web, socials and self confirms but I'd love it if they could do it again.
  9. Or maybe it was the early 2000s, 2002 in fact (cheers @incident)
  10. I'm fairly sure there were times in the 90s where there was nothing until you picked up the programme at the gate. Although I'm not sure if I'm misremembering.
  11. I always assumed this was the main reason behind it
  12. It's beyond us financially this time so I'm trying for friends. Still got that horrible anxiety feeling in the chest.
  13. I really didn't think the queues were that bad. Yes there could have been more loos but I think the longest I waited was around 10 mins. Only time I had to queue at a bar was Thursday night at the Bimble Inn, the rest of the time was a few mins at worst but mostly straight to the bar. Caveat being I don't drink a lot so may have just lucked out.
  14. Had my 1 year post cancer scan results last week. All clear.
