  1. I didn’t even make it to Shangri-la this year. Would’ve gone to the Sports Banger Mega rave on Thursday, but was offsite all day. We did NYC Downlow Friday, Arcadia Sat, then Lonely Hearts Sunday. Still managed a little trip up Stone Circle before bed each morning. Was nice to mix it up and spend each post 11pm eves/morning in a different area. Like other posts have stated think the dystopian vibe is wearing a little thin. A refresh much needed imo.
  2. Haha. I remember Steve Bull destroying us many a time. Some player he was.
  3. Haha. Love it. Ian Bogie was a great player for us.

She’s my mate’s cousin. We bumped into them all and chilled with them for a bit by Wow on Saturday. Think it was a bit too much understandably. Must be hard trying to have a normal time whilst getting recognised all the time.
  5. I’m a Port Vale fan. But wouldn’t wear a Vale shirt at a festival. But was getting photos of my with Stoke fans and sending them to a Stoke fan mate saying it had ruined my festival. 1st one one of my favs. Then trumped it with the second pic of Crouchy watching Candi Staton. (Did tell him I wouldn’t normally bother him, but showed him the other pics and he thought it was hilarious)
  6. Sorry to hear. One of the only acts I’m excited to see on main stage. Will definitely raise a glass to Dave.
  7. Just arrived in Taunton. Was hammering it down as we pulled off motorway, then through half of the town. Turned a corner and it’s bone dry. Shows how localised these showers can be. Mad.
  8. Bang on. When you get your ticket you have no idea of the line up, let alone the weather. Been in some epic battles in these fields. And I know I’d have a pisser either way. And have been well prepared for either this time . But so glad it’s looking like a good one.
  9. Just spotted this in yesterday’s Guardian. 😆
  10. Getting a pretty decent collection of footy shirts now. Maybe around 40. There’s one I definitely won’t be taking. My OG England home shirt. Cost me way more than my other half thinks. Will probs take these three…
  11. Things are looking good imo. Hopefully looking like no chance of a washout. This was the one thing I was fearing as I shattered my femur skateboarding a couple years ago, and have done nothing remotely like Glastonbury since finishing a year of rehab. The sticky mud might have done me in. Just like music, weather is subjective. So everyone’s opinion is valid. (Even @The Nal, and especially @FuzzyDunlop) Lets face it. If you’d wanted a week of 30° sunshine then you should’ve booked a week in Morocco. And maybe a week in Seattle for a week of rain. What ever happens it’s going be be a mega week of music, fun, silliness and memories. I for one, can’t f**king wait.
  12. Ahhhhh. What a feeling. Back in 29th (unless I’m still in no fit state and blag food poisoning). 🍻
  13. Thanks mate. May do that. They said it had been dispatched yesterday. DPD 2 day. So hopefully here by Monday.
  14. Just been called Micheal Fish in our Glastonbury WhatsApp group for sharing latest weather update. I wear it like a crown. 👑 *(They are also buzzing by the latest run. Thanks to all the real Michael Fish in here)
