  1. Getting worse for Angela https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13316171/angela-rayner-police-probe-mutiple-allegations-tax-council-house.html
  2. Are they calling Stamer a tool? Bit rude if so. 🙂
  3. So just out of interest, what is your newspaper or publication of choice?
  4. Ex Socialist Worker and Labour man isn't he?
  5. I'm not asking you to - just don't force them on other people here.
  6. Maybe as a mod you should be more impartial?
  7. Who knows? - they don't like links from The Sun so I guess the same might hold true for other papers.
  8. More trouble for Rayner. This in the MoS (won't post a link in case it upsets the Mods) Angela Rayner was last night facing mounting pressure over her 'two homes' row after one of her former aides told police that she had not told the truth about her real 'home'. Matt Finnegan, Ms Rayner's former chief adviser, has given a statement to Greater Manchester Police in which he states that her actual home was with her then husband – not at the former council house where she was registered on the electoral roll. The testimony is the latest evidence to shatter the insistence by Labour's deputy leader that she has not broken any rules.
  9. Reports that RAF jets are shooting down some drones.
  10. So she's broken the law but it's ok because it was a few years ago. PMSL
  11. All Rayner has to do is to publish the tax advice she was given. The longer she delays, the worse it gets for her. There's already some speculation (unproven) that there's stuff in there that might implicate her in other matters which is why she won't publish. If this was a Tory minister, you would be saying exactly the same. Strange (or maybe not) why you don't when it's Labour.
  12. I don't agree. It's when a working class person who has publicly stated that they are against, then goes ahead and benefits from it. For instance, loads of working class people benefit from private healthcare. I don't think the Tories would care a jot.
  13. It's still hypocrisy
  14. Not dodgy at all, but doesn't she want to restrict the same opportunity for others? It's the same with Diane Abbott. She was a firm opponent of private schools but still sent her kids to one.
  15. Maybe true in Bristol. Certainly down this neck of the woods it's still referrred to as The Colston Hall by most people I've heard. I guess it's use will gradually fade away.
