  1. That doesn't explain why this particular page appears once in maybe 100 attempts, if you try refreshing the new page it reverts to the old extras page. There must be a reason this one is sent rather than the older one, I suspect this is the equivalent of a booking page and the old one a busy page, maybe See simply allow a very small percentage of traffic to try to access the real booking system, the rest are fed a dummy page.
  2. Anyone else seen this different version of the extras page? I've managed to get it 3 times but appears very rarely.
  3. Yeah i messed up while trying to post the link and ended up editing it wrong, should be https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/event/glastonbury-2024-deposits/worthy-farm/3500011 thing is the links still seem to work as long as the code is correct.
  4. Wish I hadn't bothered! pita trying to get the new link to show correctly. However, it's based on previous years where they have just moved up by a digit, if you try the old links it comes up with "this event is now in the past" if you try a random number such as https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/event/glastonbury-2024-ticket-coach-travel/worthy-farm/5500011 you will get an "event not found" response, if you try the link I posted it will revert to the extras page rather than an error which would suggest it may well be a valid link. (I could well be wrong though!)
  5. Quite likely to be Weds https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/event/glastonbury-2024-ticket-coach-travel/worthy-farm/3500011 and 12 for thursday.
  6. Strange choice of pose given the political history, older readers may remember. Christine Keeler and the Profumo affair for the young uns.
  7. The chances of getting a ticket are far higher if you are organised and on a fast internet connection, if it was just down to luck there wouldn't be countless threads on here discussing ways to improve your chances of getting a ticket, the fact that so many efesters manage to get tickets proves your statements wrong. "I'm delighted anyway", good for you, now maybe you can keep your delight to yourself and stop criticizing others.
  8. It's not just inconvenience, the fact is some of us who have made arrangements to try on the advertised ticket day will now miss out on tickets because our chances of success will be greatly limited due to the change in circumstances, why you fail to understand that people on a Glastonbury forum would be upset by this is baffling. It is perfectly possible to believe it was the right call to change the date and still be pissed off by the whole situation.
  9. Maybe not a database error as such but the resulting email should have made it clear that the reg. was being kept or was being deleted, in fact there should have been 2 tick boxes, one to keep, one to delete with the email reflecting the choice, very poor way of doing it, if so many got it wrong it was not fit for purpose.
  10. Wasn't until 12th May last year, doesn't give you much notice.
  11. I was going to post to make just this point, it is only expensive if you buy and don't use it much, if you are going to spend a long time at glastonbury and other festivals it will be money well spent, (assuming it lasts and is comfortable) they look pretty well made, got to be better than sleeping on the ground. If you are on a budget second hand ones on ebay seem to be £40 -£50 but you would have to source one locally I guess. If you're ready to invest big there's this one! Might not get much recycling done though you'll be asleep all day! https://tackletarts.uk/bedchairs-and-accessories/bedchairs/fox-flatliner-bedchair-en-3/?variation_id=279789
  12. Sorry, I was going to suggest Orbital could have been Headliners in the new dance tent/arena but the BT site clearly states they are pallet headliners.
  13. Thinking a bit more on this I can't see how they had any choice but to put the sale off, since most people arrange to buy in groups of six, a single missing reg. would cause the whole booking to fail, you would then have to make the decision to buy without that person or try to substitute a 'reserve', what if it was a couple and one had a reg. and one not? they would have to drop out, it would have been absolute carnage and far worse publicity.
  14. Well I can! Thing is there are other things they could have done such as keeping some tickets back for a later sale or the resale to give those people a chance, or have a special sale for only the new regs. Who in their right mind only has one reg. anyway? You need 2 at least in case the first ones get locked out during the sale.
  15. Not anything like as good as my home, have tried from abroad before and never got anywhere.
  16. Just come onto this thread but i'll be in Fuerteventura on the 19th Nov, booked it on 16th Oct have chosen holiday dates around the sale date so you are incorrect. This late change will seriously impact my chances.
  17. Will do! Think it's a solid, rather than stellar lineup but there's more than enough there for me, and a fair bit to come, bet there will still be unpleasant clash decisions to be made!
  18. Must admit Dinosaur Jr are a band that totally passed me by but watching this has made them a must-see, terrific stuff,
  19. Don't know what your budget is or how far you would have to take it but this is the bed of your dreams! https://www.anglingactive.co.uk/prologic-avenger-bedchair-8-leg.html All adjustable legs so you can get perfectly level.
  20. Well I'm no technical bod but if you change your hosts file and they decide to use a different or additional IP's you may have problems! I suppose if you are not trying for coach tickets and are waiting for the main sale you could try it on Thursday as an experiment or if you are using multiple devices just try it on one of them.
  21. That IP belongs to Microsoft Azure cloud services, they are presumably acting as a traffic limiter and routing the requests to See's servers. Or hosting the full system during the sale.
  22. It's actually PVC sleeves that are the problem, even records housed in a "protective" pvc outer sleeve can be affected, the problem arises because PVC releases gases over time and this attacks the vinyl, other plastic sleeves such as polythene are fine.
  23. Of course it is, what has that got to do with my point?
