  1. NFR NFC - to tide you over the fallow year

    Yeah, the bass is great!
  2. 2017 New Music Thread

Wow, you've got a proper record out, not just some Soundcloud tracks, congratulations! I like it, Future is the stand out track and I'm also pretty keen on Panic, it took me a minute to realise the synth in the background was a stylised air raid siren. Nice one!
  3. PSB vs PSB

That would be ideal, thinking about it.
  4. PSB vs PSB

Where do we think PSB would place, if they turned up in 2019? They're obviously bigger than The Glade now, but I'm not sure where they would go these days. Are they headlining JPT/subbing WH level?
  5. PSB vs PSB

Yeah, was a good do. He seemed genuinely impressed with the crowd for a Monday night. The drumming was really impressive on the new album tracks, very musical and inventive. And the percussion was good too. And of course, the dancing spacemen were great!

That's the one! I was googling images. Will-o’-the-wisp? No. The Magic Roundabout? No... Parsley the Lion? Yes!
  7. 2017 New Music Thread

Don't worry, once will be enough.

This all over. Noel's song is upbeat and catchy. Liam's album is as grey sounding as Beady Eye and latter day Oasis.
  9. Tour Announcements & Upcoming Gigs

I was in my mid-twenties at the time and thought I was in his target age range. Dry Your Eyes always made me cry.
  10. Radiohead Headlining 2017

I saw it when Jonny shared it on Twitter. It's so bang on, I particularly like Hail To The Thief.
  11. 2019 Headliners

It probably doesn't matter so much, just interesting there seems to be some underrepresentation, but it's a pretty small sample, so probably doesn't meet much. And I forgot Stipe.
  12. 2019 Headliners

Also at the risk of drawing up arbitrary rules of who is "a proper gay" I wouldn't call Bowie in 2000 an openly gay act, more an act who was open about bisexuality in his past. If you did count him, then you could have Jagger in 2011, Bowie's most famous gay, or Skin from Skunk Anansie the previous year, who actually has a same sex partner. Not great representation is it?
  13. Radiohead Headlining 2017

  14. it was ticketday last year today ......

Everyone else checked this morning just to be sure, I take it?

Off topic, but you've reminded me of the disaster for recorded music that is the Roses reformation. We would have have two albums of Brown solo stuff by now, with miles better tunes on them than the Roses retro bollocks. Stellify, F.E.A.R., the songs you mentioned - all better than the Roses 2 songs. Ah well, let's hope he's working on solo stuff as we speak.
