  1. Chuffed that Josh Rouse is playing 20 years on from last time. First artist I ever saw in the Acoustic & first time I'd seen him live.
  2. Give me a shout if your plans change.... cheers!
  3. Due to an emergency vet visit with the Daag, I missed out in Live in Vehicle ticket. If anyone over bought I’d be happy to take a it off you!
  4. Yer 100%. Started ten years ago on the Sunday, just crying watching a little band outside a tent. It was a boozy year! Now everly year I'm a mess most of the weekend and post. Just talking about stuff but the tears well up. In part I thinks it's just adrenaline and ties in with life outside Glasto as adrenaline gets me through my normal job. Happy tears but still.
  5. I've been Three or Smarty (using 3) for a number of years and were shocking. Went to Lebara this year and 95% better. During Elton no loading but otherwise much better Going to Kendal Calling and last year my phone didn't work between 1200 & 0000, no calls or anything. So hoping Vodafone are on the ball there also sponsors for KC.
  6. Ok, every legend slot artist (with the exception of Kylie, and they owned her one!) started their career in the 60s or 70s. I know that's a dwindling crowd but still a good starting point. If they can sell out stadiums (think Madge, Billy Joel) they are headliners. Legends are generally Arena filling artists. Of note, ELO are the only band to play. But take Ray Davis [Kinks], Brian Wilson [Beach Boys] in to account. There was a rumour of Roxy Music for 2023 Legends slot that never came to fruit. I'd say that were more WH Headliners, like Bryan Ferry did in ?2014. Eagles announcing a tour makes them in play but I think their fee would be huge. Barry Manilow was on tour recently and he fits the spec 110%.

    2024 Headliners

It is a bit lazy for them to stand in two years on the bounce (not their fault). Seen them last year at Reading and loved 'em, plus love the first album. But surely it's a bit bizarre. It's Reading & Leeds, they don't need that big an act for that slot.
  8. As I rewatch the Stones, ten years on to the day (I started), Has there been a better tribute to the festival then their (Mick's) Glastonbury Girl ( a reworking of their song Factory Girl)? I was rather fun!
  9. Sorry, they were just the ones I got to. Good to know about the others Think it’s the Park and T&C are the strictest.
  10. From this year’s experience, EPO band gets you in Maceos (Block 9) Tow & Hitch (Arcadia) West Holts Crew Bar Woodies Crew Bar The Acoustic Crew Bar, The Green Room (iC&T crew) and The Park Crew bar all needed their own wrist band. In particular I think as artists use those bars also. Went into Acoustic at 2am one morning and Magic Numbers were playing.
  11. No, they will still take one to find themselves, as they are individual. But I take your point. And you're right, that's many's motivation. Why? What do they get out of it. FFS!
  12. It's obviously gotten worse at the stages in my time (I have one at camp, clearly different.) I'd got used to them (through gritted teeth) until last year when you couldn't even see the screens for Macca (always stood in the same place for Pyramid.) Not quite as bad for Elton this year but still. I honestly do not see the need. Ok, let your friends find you but once a gig starts, don't be so selfish. And that the crux, it's all about them, and have no thought to anyone behind them. Blood boils at them! Grrrr!
  13. Sorry, you can’t have PTSD on something that might happen. You miss the point! You are stressed!….Loves x If your mates have your kit, no issues. Meet up on site. Stressing, and using important terms, when not needed. Not so. If you’re need help, DM me x
  14. I've an 8 hour drive down tomorrow, WFM would be a useful companion. How do I get it on my phone? I've looked on the VF app but can't see. Cheers x STAND DOWN! FOUND IT! (man look!)
  15. Can I bring my pup mask??
  16. There's a point where you've done all the 'Top Tips', 'Packing Essentials', 'Where to camp' etc that you run out of material. You're bringing up some great guest Pods though, so well done. Keep up the great work. Might have a Pod topic for you but need to have a few conversations...
  17. Explore the east of the site; Circus & Theatre and Greenfields. Loads of stuff on there to entertain you. Parts of the festival you may not see at the weekend. Wednesday do the full walk round.
  18. On the upside, we seen John Fogerty that night & planned to go see The Killers... The mud was horrendous and we said 'f**k it.' We'll watch what was own here.' It was Rodrigo y Gabriela. We'd never heard or knew of them. They were awesome. Not a mistake but learn to go with the flow. We had a better night then we had if we'd gone to the pyramid. As an aside, if there's nothing you fancy, headline or other time, heard to the whole Cabaret/ Circus/ Theatre fields. There's always something to entertain and enjoy. All day and into the early hours. It's a joy x
  19. Searched once in 15 Glastos (really only 10 as 1 working & 4 in Campervan). Took my torch and missed what I can only describe as a potential prison sentence I had (all personal consumption or for friends.) Never got my torch back!
  20. Looking at who Macca brought on, Reg won't want to be out gunned!. Kiki I'd say defo, after that it could be some A*** coming out plus some younger A listers. ✌️ I wonder if Bernie will come on for a bow?

    Coop 2023

I don't recall seeing coffee but I'll be surprised if they don't do ground coffee. It was a pretty bit big place....🤔
  22. Whole heartily agree but F4aF/Love Lies is my absolute fave. If you needed time (for Kiki) that's where I'd save it. 125 minutes doesn't do it justice!
  23. They're headlining Kendal Calling in July. They will not like that crowd!!! Apart from a little mosh bit, everyone else will be at the bar or elsewhere. Why KC? Why?
