Done a reverse image search on google and you're right, looks like a rehashed version of the one posted on reddit 6 months ago

    2024 Headliners

    Anyone seen this?
  6. Cheaper the The Fixer quoted be a few months back, they wanted over 5K a ticket. Needless to say I did not take them up on their offer.
  7. Got mine at 10:02 the morning they went on sale, looking forward to it already
  8. Pretty well anything from what I've seen. Plenty of cars with tents in the campervan fields up to big ex army Bedford trucks.
  9. £12 seemed the norm for a meal across the festival, but everything I had was good. my personal favourite was the whitebait from Thyme and tide.
  10. Capacity has been the same since 2019, I didn't think it felt any busier than normal, in fact less so for the levellers. Less toilets than normal, however it you just walk onto the next set you could find some without a large queue. At least they were nice and clean. Lots of festivals have not happened this year with rising costs, I presume cost is the only reason for less of them. Overall Ithink they have done a great job this year.
  11. Gotta admit it is getting out of hand. Loads of chairs in the bit top for the headliner Saturday. They should go with a no chairs in tents policy like Glasto. In the area they were much further forward than before. I get it in the day, I take chairs in for me and the kids for the afternoon but pack them up later on. If I wanted to watch in a chair all evening I would setup behind the walkway across the field not 20M from the stage.
  12. Oh yea it will defiantly rain. I've been to more wet ones than dry, which considering the time of year is unlucky. BBC weather does appear to be changing by the hour, I'm gonna have a couple more checks then pick one i like!
  13. Do they close? Never tried really early or late. There will be a decent queue at 8am so make sure you're much earlier than that. What worked well for us with kids is a show at 5pm. We always ended up back at the tent sorting stuff for the evening and there was no queue at that time of day.
  14. Yep I'll be back again. For anyone looking for tickets try Twickets at the end of the month. Tickets are being posted July 26 onward so they will start appearing once people get them.
  15. I'm glad to day I thought it was less busy this year, with the obvious exception of Elton. I left last year a bit disillusioned with it all at how busy everything was, not just bands but just getting food or using toilets and moving about generally. I would say it was back to what feels normal to me, and I have left excited for next year.

    The churnups

This is what Bard has to say on the subject: Pulp have not confirmed or denied that they are the Churnups, but there is some evidence to suggest that it could be them. The band have a space in their touring schedule that weekend, and they have a history of playing surprise sets at Glastonbury. Additionally, the name "Churnups" is a reference to Pulp's song "Sorted for Es & Wizz", which is about the drug MDMA. Google knows all....
  17. What time does everyone get there? I see the site opens at 10am Friday so I'm planning to get there roughly then. I'm coming from the north on the A30 with a caravan, I assume it will be queued at the site, how bad are the queues normally?
  18. As I'm with the kids I'm after something more Beautiful Days than Boomtown. Can you take any of your own alcohol in? I presume not, but does any one check?
  19. Couldn't see a thread for it so I would start one. Just booked tickets for me and the kids (10&12) ay tips? Been to plenty of festivals before with and without kids, just never been to this one.
  20. Lots of tickets will usually appear on Twickets once people have them in hand, they get posted 3-4 weeks before I think.
  21. Having done may festivals with 2 young kids I can also vouch for the bike trailers. If you can get one with a swivelling front wheel its easier to push about and its stronger as the wheel is attached in two places, i have had adults sat in ours before. Fabsil the fabric and its good for all weathers. Done our kids proud up till the age of 6/7. The tow bar shown in the pic below folds under the trailer out the way when not in use. You can also get a lot of camping gear in these things on way in!
  22. The last two years I've aimed to arrive with the caravan at the car park opening time (which I think is 12) and sailed on in with minimal queuing.
  23. I've seen tents within the camping and caravan fields before. There have been cars with only a tent in the campervan field by the main gate on several years, which I noticed when queueing to get in thinking of doing the same one year. The last two years we have taken a caravan and there have been tents dotted about by us. They seem pretty relaxed, as long as you don't block the fire roads / breaks. That said I have never asked any of the marshals if one is allowed, but if say you have an awning so they allot you enough space and put the tent up later I doubt anyone will care. It starts out all organised but by Friday morning people are just getting stuffed in anywhere there is space.
