Saw them roll up in their Rolling Stones cab at Hackney Empire! Makes the lunch break a bit more exciting.. seems like they're back at the old ship inn in Hackney (or maybe just their crew) this evening!

Loved loved loved Wembley so much. What a gig and what a moment. Seeing them in Colchester in May to Wembley in July was quite the jump, and they absolutely delivered on both counts. I thought Self Esteem was absolutely brilliant (as always) too. New album is out there by the way.. its.. ok. Very early judgement but I'm glad this didn't fill much of the setlist. Also maybe I'm in the minority.. but I loved The Magic Whip (and Fool's day + Under the West Way).. so I've generally been a fan of 'new blur'. But this isn't doing much for me (or screaming that it's made by blur)

ahhh, the only other article relating dave to a band called churn said he never joined it 😅 I still think it's a very weak link (and changing it to 'The Churnups' takes it a leap further)

There is NO evidence that Dave Grohl used to be in a band call Churn... if you search 'Dave Grohl' and 'Churn' on Google and set it for results pre-May this year.. there are NO results associated with this. The closest you will get it he was once asked to be in a band called 'Churn' which never happened.. (and there is only 1 article about this) It's just a rumour that someone started and people are repeating so now it seems like fact. Feel free to link me to any info about that band if you have it!

The timings of the slots are interesting.. Friday 7.30pm Woodsies TBA: doesn't really make much sense for a big surprise guest? The hour gap between Pulp and Fred Again... already clash central for most of us, why stick another big band in there? Sat 7.45pm TBA Park: direct clash with Lizzo, who they bumped upto the top line (would they want to take away a lot of her crowd?)
