Really enjoyed watching The Killers on iPlayer last night. I thought they were on top form and the audience were great. They were just really into it. Singing along with the band and have the best time. Was really good to see.

I use a day bag. Not a huge one but big enough. I don't wonder why some people do not use them and don't understand why non bag users complain about those that do. It's no one's business. I just accept that everyone can (and should) do whatever works best for them.

I really like The Pier. I find it a fun addition. Wished I'd seen Orbitals set there this year. I had no idea it had happened until I got back! I miss Cineramageddon. I liked liked all the old cars and planes dotted around and enjoyed watching a couple of the late night movies on their giant screen. Especially Escape From New York.

Saw Robbie in 98, thought he was great. Would love to see him return. Legends slot would be perfect.

I had a great time with this set. Was close to the front and really enjoyed the whole thing.

I did feel jammy that I was on the shuttle bus at the time. Even though it didn't last too long it was quite the downpour wasn't it.

That Wednesday rain shower lasting about 20 minutes started while I was on the shuttle bus and finished just as we drove into the coach car park. Lucky me. I really welcomed those few tiny little bits of rain on the Sunday. It was perfect weather in many ways over the whole festival. I just need to make sure that next year I'll be armed with eye drops, better hayfever medicine and stronger sunglasses. That should help me with the dust, pollen and sun.

I mean, I wasn't rubbing my eyes... Wish I hadn't been affected by dust. Lucky you. How was 2023 a washout? I love the warmer Glastonbury's but had a few other issues this year unfortunately.

Yes please. I need that dust kept the f down. My eyes got badly messed up on Saturday and Sunday. They didn't fully recover until a week after the festival. So any help with not going through that again is welcome for me (other than big rain downpours, naturally).

I was sat down having some food from the Vegan Pyramid. Heard the roar above me, looked up and there they were! Was a very impressive sight.

Thanks. Wednesday I arrive and once tent is sorted, go on a big festival walkabout. Friday through to Sunday I'm watching acts and fully throwing myself into everything and so Thursday is my day to completely relax before all the busy days ahead. Lost Horizons is like a festival within the festival. It's always a good time 🙂

The price lowered after each day. So on Wednesday it was £75, Thursday £65 and so on. I was there all day Thursday only which cost £20. A pretty fair price I thought for me to relax in a naturist friendly environment with sauna, plungepool, trampoline (!), shaded chill out area and live music performances. I even got to take part in a yoga class. Had a great time 🙂

Depeche Mode I saw Dave Gahan on Other Stage in 2003. He played some DM songs and was great. With only two original members left, I really hope they play Glastonbury at some point. Really enjoyed watching their set on tv from Primavera. (Also would love to see Tom Waits (unlikely I know), Pearl Jam, Tangerine Dream (went to see their current lineup last year and thought they were very good), Taylor Swift and although v v unlikely, Kate Bush.

I wear collared shirts every day, so that protects my neck, along with the factor 50 sunscreen. So I had no neck issues. The cap being enclosed I have assumed helps protect my scalp from UV.
