  1. I remember a couple of years back looking for ages for some kind of shaving stall. Thought there might have been a turkish shave stand in the greenfields or somewhere, but alas I found nothing.

  2. He did give the impression he didn't want to be there, I certainly agree with that, but I don't remember him swearing or being forced off stage

This. I was there and it was not a great performance but I don't recall any booing, any swearing by Moz, or any security. I think the other poster has got Primal Screem and Morrissey confused ;)

  3. Hi all,

heartbrokenly I am trying to find a way to sell my two Glasto 2011 tickets (at face value if possible). Been to Glasto for the last three years, this time I cannot go since my gf is pregnant. Won't risk losing our baby.

Last year was bad enough with all the heat and dust for her.

Seetickets wont refund the ticket saying it's too late now. So if anyone is interested in buying the tickets or knows someone, contact me: gljd2011@mailinator.com .

Pictures are for 32/male and 30/female (looking younger though). Photos can be provided upon request.

  4. I went to Coachella last year and had a fantastic time. Some amazing bands, in beautiful surroundings with fantastic weather.

No it's not the same as English festivals, but it is a differnt country with a differnent culture. The Americans have a different attitude to drinking so the fenced off bars are a cultural thing. Yeah it was a bit of a pain, but it didn't stop me drinking, I'd just go for a pint between bands, or watch one of the stages from the bar area.

It was no where near as strict as what the website makes out. For example the stuff about only allowing one case of beer is not enforced. They let you bring anything as long as its not glass. They even have a shuttle bus to the supermarket to but more booze if you run out.

The only thing that soured me was the lack of transport to the festival from the nearest town of of Indio. they should have had shuttle busses from the coach station. We ended up in a taxi there, being dropped off still 3 miles away and walking in the baking sun with rucksacks and tents. then on the way home there were no taxis in sight so had to walk for miles until some random Mexican Women picked me up and gave me a lift

  5. I think it's a great idea. especially if it was a late night stage somewhere. Saw Viva Morrissey at Friends of mine festival this past weekend, they were on at midnight and it was a great late night fun singalong.

  6. The distant sound of distorted music. On the way home last year and for a good 24 hours after I could still hear this sound. Was a bit strange, I could think of a song and I would hear the basey sound like it was being played in a distance.
