  1. My experience wasn’t comparable to that - sounds terrible - but I thought the same was true in family camping. We arrived 7pm Thursday and must have asked four or five different stewards where was best to camp. No one had any idea, it was clear they weren’t in contact with one another. One tried to direct us to Pink Moon despite that being a separate pre erected camping area. We eventually found space all the way over near the main arena entrance which was a long trek from the car parks with kids in tow thanks to some other campers overhearing our conversation, but that was 30 mins from the car so also found the marketing of the ‘family car parking’ a bit misleading.
  2. Was at Latitude this weekend and it rained Sat > Sun early hours for almost 12 hours straight. Barely any mud round the main stage and markets and we were sat on the grass come Sunday pm. The sandy ground drains astonishingly well - I genuinely couldn't believe it.
  3. First time back since 2008. Lovely festival for families, very impressed with the set up generally and frankly astonished at the ground conditions after 13 hours of rain! Don’t think we ever waited longer than 10 mins for any food choices, the bar or the toilets - really made a difference to the weekend Only two gripes for me. The lack of atmosphere at the main stage unless you were right at the front (we had a decent spot for Pulp but it was really quite flat around us) but remember that from 2008 - think it’s just a result of the audience make up. And the other was how useless (albeit friendly) the stewards were in general. Getting any assistance as to where might be free to camp when arriving late Thursday was met by shrugs and “I don’t know, no one briefed us”. And less said about car park management this morning the better. But generally loved it and going back next year.
  4. Ticketmaster CS suggesting via DMs that a) anyone who bought via the Midnights presale won’t be selected for General Sale and b) anyone without an email is on the waitlist. Sounds to me like they f**ked it up and are covering themselves.
  5. Kaleidoscope in Alexandra Palace, London cancelled yesterday as well. I live ten mins away (and was going). I suppose it’s on a hillside so pretty exposed, the site has a lot of trees and it rained all day yesterday, but so far today we’ve had a moderate breeze with a few showers and nothing more. Very sad for the organisers, small business selling there (and Hot Chip).
  6. Exactly the situation I am in. I suspect the registration system failed.
  7. Seem to be loads of people on Twitter with no email at all. I still have no email for either account that registered. Two scenarios: only a certain number of people get waitlisted and others hear nothing, or TM have screwed up under weight of demand and thousands of people just didn’t get registered. Which do we think? I was under the impression everyone would get an email one way or another.
  8. Both my wife and I registered (at different times) before I found out I had a Midnights presale code. Neither of us have received emails today (nor did we get confirmation emails at the time, although I did get the 'Thanks, we got your registration' screen, which I screen grabbed).
  9. Same thing happened to me yesterday, absolutely ridiculous. I tweeted them about it - no response. Ended up getting Tier 1 today, not even a particularly good location but I was just relieved they weren't behind the stage and didn't want to risk losing them.
  10. Worth noting that in the 1pm Wembley sale I selected Level 1 and Level 2 seating, and it kept offering me tickets in section 245 (behind the stage). Couldn't find a way to get alternatives offered in those price bands and then it eventually booted me out.
  11. In case this helps anyone tomorrow / today.... This time got 270 in queue. On at 1.04pm. But TM kept allocating me seats behind the stage when I searched, so I searched and released on four occasions. Fourth time it kicked me out for 'too many reservations'. Absolutely furious, I don't understand why you can't simply select the section you want. So if you get seats you don't want - think carefully before releasing them.
  12. OK - so I made the mistake of having tickets in a basket and searching in a second browser to see if I could get better seats. Kicked me out to back of queue
  13. Sorry for all the questions, trying to catch up on this thread... When selecting seats on Ticketmaster, is it possible to select a section, or do you have to go with what it selects you?
  14. Any ideas on what number will likely be successful for Wembley? I have 5,800
  15. I can't join the waiting room - it just refreshes and gives me the button back again - on all browsers. Any ideas?
