hello hello, does anyone know specifically where you can definitely get coffee on the site? keeping my eyes peeled but still haven’t come across anywhere yet!

ah nuts. def had one from (3) at like, 3am before, so fingers crossed it was just the franchise one that shuts up early. otherwise i'll be smuggling kahlua in, lol

i'm very glad to hear yesterday was a lot better for people, i was fully starting to go into panic mode, lol. hope tonight follows suit! does anyone know if the coffee places stayed open later (i.e. past midnight) last night?

same - i'm not a huge drinker anymore anyway but i can't stomach beer at all. i'd be more than happy just having pop/coffee/water, but they seem to all be even harder to come by at the moment - mate said the coffee stalls have closed already, which doesn't bode well for me making it to 2manydjs next week 😅 have definitely had a 3am coffee before so maybe it's just a temp thing due to staffing issues or something. mates have said that party island is definitely more like it usually is (/should be), so there is a bit of hope!

i don't know if it's that - did they even have furlough in spain/portugal? lol. you pay crap wages, give people crap conditions to work and sleep in, guess what you get. not to mention covid and all sorts of other things could have lead to last minute drop outs. prima organisers can't be short of a few quid, maybe they should try making it an appealing prospect instead of giving the bare minimum for the staff who bear the brunt of being public-facing.

yeah i was prepared to go down a bit earlier to get a decent spot, but i'm more worried that more and more people will try and crowd in as the strokes finish up and i'll end up getting trapped (i have agoraphobia hence why i am already panicking lol)

mates who are there have tried to make the best of it (the self-service beer place seems to be a go-er once you've got the app and worked it out) but a few are really at the end of their tether after just one night. it's shit if you want beer but even shittier if you don't want to/can't drink booze. i wonder if there was a problem with staff shortages, coupled with overselling capacity? recipe for disaster if so.

panicking quite a bit thinking about how many extra people will be there for the strokes next friday. really want to see the smile above all else that day but the strokes finishing half an hour before they start, with the potential of fan crossover trying to get into the rayban area is really making me worry.

getting back to the important stuff - catching up on photos from the site and it appears that the loos in mordor are now proper ones and not portaloos 🙌 it's the little things!

having a great time learning the spanish for "this is pathetic", "get the fuck out of here" etc in the qts/replies to this no bleachers to sit on... but you get a free gif!!!

am i right in thinking they've done away with the lovely free-for-all bleachers in mordor? a few of my friends have physical issues (not bad enough to be a full-blown disability, but enough to be a pain in the arse) and being able to sit on seats, not on the ground, was a lifesaver. and quite frankly, i liked being able to sit and watch bands without worrying about being trodden on/in peoples' way. would be a real disappointment if they're vip-only (though i can see vip are having their own issues too!).
