  2. It's hard to predict any more large names for 2024, you'd think we should get more but there don't seem to be many others touring. Green Day and Smashing Pumpkins are out based on tour dates, Tame Impala and NIN don't seem to be touring, while Massive Attack seems possible/likely. Something medium like Arcade Fire or KOL would be more likely. Pearl Jam seem like they will only be doing Mad Cool and NOS next year. I think 2025 will be a huge year for headliners after how poor 2024 options are.
  3. Does anyone have any idea if the Hive Resort packages tend to sell out really quickly? These disappointing announcements have me questioning making the trip from Canada. Ideally we'd wait for a few more names but I wouldn't want to be left without a Sahara/Tipi package at that point. Thanks!
  4. And tomorrow will be the next announcement from Live is Live - getting nervous that they will take another favorite off the board.
  5. Really hoping for this too but no tour dates for them yet, and they did some Europe fests last year already. Rumour is that they did not sell great last time before it was cancelled. Only hope might be to sub for Pearl Jam on the Thursday since that day is typically harder for the festival to sell out.
  6. The field will be packed for both but curious to see the risk of an increase in demand for day tickets at the loss of combi ticket demand. Will Dua Lipa/Maneskin fans want to attend days for Foo Fighters/Pearl Jam, and vice versa. Also festivals have to keep their core customers in mind - these booking will surely bring new fans to the park, but will they carry over to coming in future years regardless of these pop-ier headliners being booked? Curious things to consider...
  7. Headliner options by category based on various discussions online, assume that the 4 big headliners will come from this list: 99% - Foo Fighters Going on tour = always Werchter - Pearl Jam Huge acts touring/in area - Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Dua Lipa Previously cancelled - RATM, The Strokes, Stromae, Kendrick Classic Rock rumblings - AC/DC, Sir Paul, The Cure Rumored but ruled out - Green Day, Blink-182, The National ☹ As someone planning on coming from Canada for the first time since 2017, I’m hoping for something exciting and unexpected aka RATM/Strokes/Coldplay. Otherwise it will become too similar to the mixed genre North American festival headliner mix that I’ve seen around here so often already. We'll see but I don't have high hopes lol...
