  1. For a 20/30 mim laugh yes but not for any serious amount of time. The fun i suppose is different people/friends on different channels.
  2. Our wedding anniversary sometimes falls on Glastonbury. My wife didnt fancy going one year, got tickets with friends but felt a little guilty (be honest it was the tiniest trace of guilt) so i made her a copper bracklet with our wedding date punched into it. I'm not very creative, so quite proud i managed it after a few days enjoying myself. I still use the blue Guardian cotton rucksack I got free a few years back at various festivals
  3. The sound system in the Glade Dome is fantastic, proper packs a punch. I dont follow much on social media but i'm hooked on Fish56, seems a good character with a very wide collection of tunes.
  4. Think Jamies Jones/Seth played around 5am on this stage. Vague memory of them coming out to dance in the crowd
  5. Never usually get past the holding page. Had laptop with stei screen, ine hamnering f5, ipad refreshing naturally and my phone doing the same. Needed 3 tickets, friend got them at 9:04 and i got the booking page at same time on the mobile. Entered ours incase hers didnt go through, then got sent some details of a friend's friend, never met them but they are now going to Glastonbury 😁 Got in twice for caravan tickets at 11am. First time ive managed to buy tickets since 2015 even if they werent my own!
  6. Thankfully beats will be pulsing through my body in June 🥳 Can watch this thread a little closer now 😎
  7. Managed to get East paid within 30seconds. Got back in around 11:10 to get another East, they were showing unavailable but freshed a few times and it appeared. Have a spare Bath & west now though
  8. Cheers Stuie. I purchased as they were too cheap to leave, £20 for two WHP tickets 😳 transferred onto Ticketmaster account straight away
  9. Looking at buying a ticket for a dance event at the weekend. Had a Google and there's some on Twickets relatively cheap. Is the site reliable, I've obviously heard of it but never used before?
  10. I quite enjoyed them at Solfest but I heard a few people (including my best mate) saying the front man was beyond annoying. Kept bleating on about meeting a Gallagher but guess it tee's them up to play an Oasis tune at the end
  11. My friend messaged to say Four Tet on IICON was some of the best Techno he'd ever heard. He had a lot of Ket though
  12. Good write up, painted a good picture and nice to hear you enjoyed it more than last year!
  13. I know some who paid £250 to be spun in Saturday morning. £500-600 Thursday
  14. Flags to help your frends/family find you is a fair argument. But the ones inside the front circle, for say a headline act like Elton - no one is coming in to meet you?
  15. Picture of @Crazyfool01 on the sky article with this your ar's hat on https://www.google.com/amp/s/news.sky.com/story/amp/sir-elton-john-closes-glastonbury-with-history-making-goodbye-telling-fans-i-will-never-forget-you-12909593
  16. Just like to say, as my four year old and I dance to Ibiza Sonica at 8am whilst eating breakfast in the kitchen - I'm insanely jealous of the fun you lot are soon going to have. Enjoy A ticketless upsidedowfrowner
  17. No tickets but will try again in the resale. Probably check the forum every day until next June, like to frequent the dance music thread
  18. Actually watching bands live. My wife and a number of people we go with travel around watching dance music, so the festival allow us to enjoy bands in the day and party at night. Know that'll be weird for lots of posters 😊 The great thing is when the music stops at 4/6/7am you are not ushered out by security that want to get off their shift like clubs/venues or lots of other festivals. If you want to head to the Stone circle until dinner time - crack on, if you want to sit in a booth outside the green peace tree at 8am with mates - crack on. Basically if you're not bothering other people, enjoy yourself how you want to.
  19. For a large venue it is quality. I've seen some stuff on twitter about the crowd Friday (I realise you went Saturday) but we didn't see any bother. The concourse is a great space to party and the whole of the main room was pumping Friday, the sound has been a bit low in some spots in previous seasons but not at the weekend. The thrud room is similar to the old Store Street venue which I absolutely loved Hats off to the Sacha Lord, fair ballsy to have a venue that big, organise it so well and having it going off for a decent season. I know some don't like that the Djs can't play other Manc venues but they've been throwing top parties for a long time
  20. Our group has a spare ticket for Music On at WHP Manchester this Friday if anyone is looking for one
  21. Over 5 devices and connections, laptop on edge manually F5' every two seconds got the registrations page (twice) when nothing else got close. Unfortunately I couldn't get it processed in the end Back at it in April
  22. If anyone gets lucky 420112576 BB9 0JY 1893273310 BB10 4HX 1330712709 BB11 5JN 806772431 BB11 5JN 119543677 BB11 3EB
  23. Just Music On at WHP. Listen to Marco in Pacha in August, he style seemed have changed since I last saw him a few years ago - more vocals and softer. Not a bad change for me as I like it either way, wasn't sure if it was for the Pacha crowd or he had gone that way full time?
