  1. This place was on the way to the meeting point point from the cider bus on the left hand side and yes it was brilliant. Controversial opinion time, I thought no bones jones was overrated. Not terrible but distinctly average. Shout outs for Goan fish curry, the duck truck, tibetan kitchen & mexican fried chicken
  2. I was in the toilet when someone entered the cubicle next door. I heard them quietly say 'oh god' then spin round, walk out and shout to their mate 'i need a cleaner one!' their mate (a woman) shouted you've got a dick, use it! He shouted back 'I just want to have a sit down wee at Glastonbury you c**t!'
  3. I've never seen an orangutan, it doesn't mean they don't exist. The wind getting under gazebos is inherent to the design/function of them where as tents with solid walls do not have the same issues.
  4. It's not just about room for camping though. People usually bring absolutely sh*t gazebos that either collapse and break at the first sign of wind then end up in the bin or take off and fly at high speed potentially injuring people/ripping other peoples tents with the legs.
  5. They are not really my thing tbh but I know they are huge with the younger crowds. I'd expect you would need to arrive very early to have a chance of getting in!
  6. 30 years of V recordings with Bryan gee, dillinja, die and JJ frost will be incredible - firmly rooted on Friday LTJ bukem at iicon on Saturday. Mala is on before if you want to catch some decent dubstep. Thursday at the temple basically all day although I'd avoid going earlier. Bou b2b hedex is a crush waiting to happen, turn up at 11pm for born on road. Thursday at the glade dome Randall is going to be playing a set somewhere There is tonnes

Pretty sure they had one to the rear of the west holts field last year, opposite the toilets on the track that leads down to the leftfield. Not sure if it is exactly the same one but i'm certain there was a chill out/sensory safe space there.
  8. Feels like there is much less on Wednesday this year? CTRL + F for Wednesday on the 2022 lineup finds 25 matches, same on the 2023 only brings up 15. Hopefully there will be a few interesting bits to wander around and find....
  9. We tried to get ice multiple times last year and it was always sold out. I wouldn't go under the impression it's definitely available and just consider it a bonus if you can get some (if you are expecting to use it to keep a coolbox cold for example).
  10. Last few festivals I have stumbled across a guy with a small soundsystem playing DnB on the old railway by the stairs that go down to the glade, usually on a wednesday night/thursday morning. Does anyone have any more info on this? Is it a legit part of the festival or just some guy providing some entertainment to other festival goers? It's honestly one of the things that really makes my first night of the festival.
  11. My partner quit her job and got a new one to attend the 2014 festival because they rejected a time off request months in advance, it happens! Although this was the duration of the festival they did not allow off, not just the monday...
  12. Yeah they were not very well advertised at all to be fair, basically there were 3 areas where you could go underneath the main structure of the temple. Central/rear is where you go in, to the left is where you exit and to the right there is a bar and some toilets
  13. There are toilets literally inside the temple...
  14. Echo other comments, something doesnt feel right. Queues for the toilets are insane in most area even in pylon at times. Camped in the same spot in 2019 and they've definitely reduced the size of the toilets for that field. There were urinals as well which have been removed, certainly not going to help with people pissing on the land. There is a testing site right there on the river so I imagine the festival will get a bollocking once the test results come in. Got caught in the shambles at Arcadia last night as well, people smashed through the hedgerow to gain access because the crowd was insane on the road up to the park. A group of Scottish lads pretending to be security barging through making things worse, although it did make me laugh they pushed up to one of the Arcadia crew bars and flashed a wrist band to be promptly told to fuck off. Even old dirty brasstards at Williams green on Thursday was insane, pulling in big act John peel stage sized crowds, absolutely no where near getting inside the tent.
