  1. Kids tickets seem to be sold out on the Thursday - is that it, totally sold out? Or might more kids tickets become available when a later ticket tier is released?
  2. Will be in Paris with my wife and 9yo son when Rock en Seine is on and usually go to Glastonbury, Latitude, Truck Fest etc... each year. Can anyone give me a run down of what this festival is like? Is it like the BST Hyde Park festival where you can only get close to the stage if you've paid for a 'golden circle' ticket or is it more relaxed?
  3. What did you use to make it tab to the next field? I tried 'TAB', but doesn't seem to be right.
  4. If you go to seetickets.com now and hammer f5 you'll eventually get a 'service busy' message which will last for a few seconds, but it'll go back quite quickly. If it's based on this only (???) then my assumption is wouldn't we see the same page and the same behaviour during the sale (i.e. It lets you go back in)
  5. I had 2 laptops on last night, each connected to the same WiFi, each using more than 1 browser with an auto refresh extension and I never saw anything other than the holding page even after it was sold out, so that would suggest you're right. BUT, my phone, on its own separate 4g connection, was also displaying the holding page well after half 6 so I don't think the theory holds up there. Interestingly, I did notice that one of my browsers (opera) started to show 'event not found' eventually, but the other browsers on the same laptop still had the holding page. So perhaps each browser is seen as a separate session?? 🤷
  6. What's the advantage of the direct link? Just one fewer redirection?
  7. You can pay by cc too, right? So you don't need to actually have the money. Someone above said their lookup still works.
  8. I did. It's A. My registrations are proof.
  9. Well looks a cock up with the data then. They've just panicked now because they know something is awry and they need some time to sort it.
  10. Out of interest, is that a pre-2020 reg or newer? My pre-2020s we're working a few days ago, but today the link doesn't work.
  11. Same here. Noticed it earlier today, but just assumed it was because it was ticket day/week.
  12. My knees are we're swollen the next morning after having my 7yo lad on my shoulders for pretty much the whole 3 hours (plus the previous 2 days). I'd played him most songs from the expected setlist over the last few months and he was incredibly excited to be there. It was an amazing experience to have with him and it lived up to the hype, which is saying something.
  13. Had a bit of a meltdown pitching it because those tent poles ARE CLEARLY TOO BIG FOR THE TENT, but it's up now and everything seems OK again.

    Best Bars

There was a stall very close to Leftfield that sold ice cold Hackney Hopster Pale cans in 2019. In the boiling heat of the Saturday, and after a few days of lager or not-that-cold ale, they were amazing. One of those times when a beer lives long in the memory. Don't think Hackney Hopster is that great and I'm pretty sure I paid something outrageous for a small can, but it just arrived at the right place at the right time. 😎👌😁 Long story short... Might be worth looking out for if you're round that way this year.
  15. Thanks. We've ended up arranging for her to leave work a day early and drive in with me. Hope you get there OK!
  16. My wife was due to leave on the 5:30pm (ish) train from Paddington on Weds that no longer appears on the journey planner. She hasn't had an email about it being cancelled - she bought it from gwr direct. Are we right to assume she can just get on any train?
  17. Ha thanks. Write 'ADAM75' on the side to make it distinctive please. 😉
  18. Nice idea. I'm not sure I'll get round to putting it up again, especially as it's 30°...
  19. Don't. This is my nightmare. I strugglednwith my test run too and have to set it up solo. Well, with my 7 year old and I'm sure he'll lose interest within 5 mins. Can you stop by Wickets camping on weds afternoon to give me a hand? 😜
  20. I know this year is unprecedented, but does anyone have any previous experience of leaving Paddington for Castle Cary around 4-6pm on the weds? Due to work commitments my wife is getting the train then and I've read all the horror stories above from previous posters about queues on a normal year - is that morning departures you're referring to? Can we expect it to be a bit quieter by late afternoon, or is that wishful thinking?
  21. 2019 was my 7th Glasto and the first time I'd even walked through the Theatre & Circus field. I think I was always just running from band to band and never made time. Anyway, this year we're planning to spend some more time there and we'll have my 7yo son with us so looking for things he'd enjoy. He loves Bill Bailey, so just wondering if there are any non-potty mouthed comics around in a similar mould? Any recommendations for family friendly theatre and circus acts appreciated too. 👍
  22. My 7 year old would barely be able to contain himself if that happened. 🤯

    Car Park

If you arrive on Tuesday, does that mean you'll be more likely to end up in a parking spot near to the gates? Or is it still pretty random? I've only ever arrived on Weds or Thurs and never want to be in pink again! 😂
  24. I went to Decathlon and saw the Air 4.2 for a comparison. The main reason we went for the 5.2 is the way the sleeping are is setup your head is inside the tent near the living area. With the 4.2 you sleep across it so there's a chance and my wife was paranoid of someone tripping/bashing into us. 😄 Anyway, front area of 5.2 is not that deep, but it's very wide and adequate for 3 of us. I don't remember thinking the 4.2 was particularly roomier.
