  1. Missed them at Glastonbury, was intending to see them at Strummerville on the Thursday but the area was super busy so I swerved it. Looking forward to seeing them in Bristol in November though!
  2. Anyone have any idea of stage timings for First Aid Kit day tomorrow?
  3. Bump - new some new music suggestions!
  4. Apologies if this isn’t the best place to ask this, but I’m going to First Aid Kit at Crystal Palace Bowl next month and the info says gates open at 2:30pm. I know they have three supports but does anyone know what time this will finish? Wondering if it will be an early finish and I can get back to Bristol or if I need to book a hotel. Thanks!
  5. Great three but it’s caused me to buy seven new books!
  6. One of the best sets of the weekend, but I knew it would be. Fourth time seeing them for me and it just concreted my love of them. When I saw them in Bristol earlier this year I was second row and the intensity of their performance and their anger made me feel physically uncomfortable, for a band to have that impact on their audience is incredible!
  7. Finsbury yesterday was incredible, best gig in ages, absolutely loved it and Jarvis was on top form!
  8. When some bloke asked me where The Temple was at about 2:30 am and I was hammered and replied ‘I’m 99% sure there’s no venue at Glastonbury called the Tadpole!’. The look on his face 😂 my mate had to let me know he said the Temple and then I think gave him the wrong directions in my drunken haze! Sorry mate, whoever you were!
  9. Lottery winners and Billy Nomates
  10. Thanks for linking, grabbed one of the Glastonbury T-shirts, great momento!
  11. Out of my 7 Glastonbury’s it’s definitely my favourite headliner performance I’ve seen on the farm!
  12. Yeah maybe it was a timing thing, I had them at about 11:30 am, the lady asked if I wanted the coriander salsa sauce thing and I recoiled as I said no, hate coriander! But then when she offered me soy sauce I think the enthusiasm in my yes made her add extra. The doughy goodness of the momo in the lake of salty soy was exactly what I needed for breakie!
  13. ‘There’s a podcast in that mate.’ ’I know I’m middle class but I’m not starting a f*cking podcast!’
  14. Don’t think I had a bad meal, a couple of average meals but I knew what I would get going in but needed the carbs (Pietanic in T&C and a cheese toastie near Pyramid). Best meals were the Moo Moo’s from the Tibetan in West Holts for breakfast on Saturday. My first meal on site was from the Dosa place by carhenge with an added Bhajis and was amazing. Had a couple of good pizzas, the park Lebanese mezzo was good but the stuffed vine leafs were the star. As always No Bones Jones was incredible both times I ate there, Sunday morning when I was in such a bad way I couldn’t formulate a decision and the bloke just looked at me and said ‘let me tell you what to order’, watermelon salad saved my life that day!
