Being the pengest pikey is like being the most sane person in an insane asylum.

i rarely come on efests but when i do you're always downvoted, dont worry, you'll get there.
  6. Lineup 2016

True, i think that they wanted him to have his name bigger though, more mainstream appeal further up the line up. Biffy/The 1975 clash is painful, going to be tough to decide on that one. Should have definitely swapped The Vaccines and The 1975 about but i'm assuming that The 1975 must have requested to headline the tent or something.
  7. Lineup 2016

I think that was likely the plan. Foals to headline but they didn't want them to move up to an solo headliner without being an exclusive. Chvrches->Disclosure->Foals would have looked stronger and better planned out. As for Biffy co-headlining, i have no idea what went on there. The 1975->FoB->Biffy and The Vaccines headlining NME would have seemed much better also, however i don't think they'd have put ASAP Rocky 4th down on Main.
  8. Lineup 2016

Stronger for me is what i meant. Obviously on the whole it's missing an act. Tbh i would have preffered it again if they had dropped Disclosure to sub under Biffy and had Foals/FoB or even Foals as outright headliner and then Disclosure as a ''Closing Set'' or something, just looks ridiculous having 2 sets of co-headliners.
  9. Lineup 2016

It would have seemed so much stronger had they split it up like this
  10. Download 2017

Not sure about some of the placings, Misfits and Rancid should probably drop down a spot, as should Alexisonfire. Lamb Of God should probably go up a spot. I also don't think BMTH are going to play Download again until they get a new album out. Why would they headline on the arse end of an album when Download could wait a year and make the booking look much stronger with fresh material?
  11. Lineup 2016

Been out for a while. Just only got a video, not a bad song at all but Biffy have much better

Avenged Sevenfold Thirty Seconds To Mars Stone Sour Parkway Drive Anthrax The Dillinger Escape Plan The Struts Creeper Volbeat Metallica The Smashing Pumpkins Limp Bizkit Of Mice & Men Ghost Slaves (UK) Crossfaith Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes Rancid Bon Jovi Alter Bridge Mastodon Papa Roach Architects Cancer Bats Marmozets Black Peaks Slayer
  13. Download 2017

Pretty good all in all. Frank Carter said he see you next year on the main stage. Don't know if he was chatting shit or not but whoever was on before (think it was Attila) said the same at the end of their set too.
  14. Download 2017

The loyalty scheme surely does mean that they didn't sell as much as they hoped this year and fear that the same will happen next year. I think the problem lies with them rebooking Headliners over and over, hoping for something different. Green Day or Blink would be something nice and refreshing. Bon Jovi would be a nice surprise too, but I think we all can be 99% sure that Metallica are going to be one
