Hmm, they played Spain last month. Box ticked I think... But we will get a few new names for sure.

I'd say Garbage can be ruled out as otherwise they would have to play 4 days in a row. Surely new names next week?

I would have been shocked if The Smile weren't lined up given Kalorama but good to have confirmed. Doesn't mean anything in terms of whether it's going ahead though really.

Was thinking about the time they played EOTR where they did headline the main stage and had assumed would be the same.

I saw Sleaford Mods play the Rayban tent (not the Rayban stage) to about 30 people in 2015. Was pretty intense in a good way - they just aren't suited to a big stage.

Mark my words, her new album is going to be way more than just ok, a return to form and released in time for the festival. She's stepped away from working with Jack Antonoff and new single is a banger.

St Vincent as a replacement for Twigs and an instant repeat? She's around and her new album sounds like it will be a winner (she gave a good performance but IMO the last album was a disappointment).

Another good spot! Alternatively they could be in Parallel 62 (would be my guess) or maybe Razzmatazz 2. La Nau and Laut probably too small.

True and it's a huge USP for the festival but I don't think they have the appetite to put a bigger artist there based on the last 9 years. They can squeeze a hell of a lot more than 3,000 people in Mordor and hard to justify on a commercial basis.

Agree on other point but he is on the third line really and is far too small to be on the first line. Not sure if moving him to the second line is really necessary.

I think they have an almost exactly equal number of good and (for my taste) bad names which is a bit frustrating as could have made an incredible festival by switching some of the names over.

A tonne of festivals are announcing in the next week. You have to feel Cala Mijas will need to be amongst them or people will spend their summer festival cash on other options...

Second best line up of 2024 for me. Not the strength in depth/diversity (and shame it's in $$$ Sweden).
