Agree. If we get past May, then surely too many people with other plans then. Quite a lot of money for the local economy at stake. I reckon they'll still green light it.

Not clear to me who the surprises are if any really but Royal Otis, Last Dinner Party and Troye Sivan would all move up a level if they were on the bill next year I suspect.

Yeah, Mac De Marco did a tiny gig for maybe 100 people there. Think he got his girlfriend up on his shoulders at one point. You could also go and chat to the bands afterwards - it did feel much less like a megafestival back then.

We haven't yet established for sure that Hidden Stage won't return and I assume the sponsorship covers the cost. Possibly bigger issue now is where to put it. Greatly miss having a flurry of late additions..

For anyone arriving (really) early, Four Tet are playing elsewhere in Barcelona on the Sunday. Oh and Primavera Pro lineup is out (also part of Ciutat), wheels starting to move now...

Annoyingly Lambchop will be accompanied by a choir on their London performance two days later but not for their Auditori show. Think they are playing more classics in that London show too.

I know there are more to be added but for me the lineups have become much thinner with generally weaker headline and sub over the years. Remember wanting to go to 4 of the days before. This year won't bother with any.

Good chance of some new names next week I reckon (or certainly this month now)! Never understood why the leave the day splits until the Summer. Bands get booked for specific days, they must know them now...

You will have no problem. Almost certainly after midnight. Think they were on at about 2am last time they played Primavera.

Vampire Weekend out today. First listen so might change my mind but seems to be very solid from start to finish and not even much of a fan.

Wouldn't it make more sense to rehearse for a batch of shows? Her crew also would prefer I imagine to not just do a random one-off for not much money.

It has to be said that after such an incredible run of dry PSs - about 10 years I think - we are due a wet one : p (By predicting this, I'm guaranteeing it won't happen)
