  1. I've got several sticks from the tree at the Pyramid stage. They were on the ground, I didn't snap them off! Also a nice pink painted skull.
  2. It's a lot lot busier these days. Still the best place on earth but be prepared to queues lot more than in the past. Still amazing though and you must be so excited to go back after a long break
  3. I usually spend loads of time in the Glade due to all the prog and got mates that like their psytrance. This year is going to be a very different festival for me as not got any must see acts either in terms of bands or DJs just a lot of 'wouldn't mind seeing'. On the plus side I'll get to bimble about a lot more and hopefully stumble across things I wouldn't usually. I'm sure it will still be the best place on the planet. Waiting now to see what Silver Hayes comes up with. Last year Ki/Ki at The Levels was one of my favourite festival moments.
  4. Initially disappointed at no Sasha, Digweed Nick Warren etc Seem to have gone away from prog last couple of years whereas there used to be loads but I guess things change with the times
  5. Often find resale easier, we didn't get near the page ourselves this time but got 2 groups out of 3 between our mates and only got one in the general sale and that was thanks to an acquaintance
  6. I have never done this but do admit to wondering what people who are on the front row for someone like Elton John do as they must have had to stay there for hours. I can imagine it's difficult to hold someone's spot for them there although tbf I manage to keep spots elsewhere at the front
  7. Just give me Glade and Silver Hayes please. Pretty sure Glade has been early May in the past though
  8. I only saw Gladiator for the first time last week. Very late to the party
  9. Off to see them in Manchester on Saturday, first time since 2016 at West Holts. 3 hour show sounds interesting
  10. Saw Lottery Winners on Thursday at Parish in Huddersfield. 3rd time seeing them since first time at Glasto last year. I absolutely love them both music wise and also just so funny and entertaining. 100% my favourite band right now and all thanks to Efestivals as I heard about them last year on here
  11. I'll go and see them wherever tbh
  12. I would LOVE if the Spice Girls somehow got added to the lineup. Or just happened to do a Vegas residency while I'm there in September
  13. One of my friend's is on loo crew again this year. She did say that she does support them through the year in various ways plus wrote an article about her experience last year that got published. This will be her 3rd time with them
  14. Same predicament here. That Sunday night closing set was absolutely brilliant but it does feel like trying to recreate a previous good time. For me it will probably depend on whether Orbital are on at the Park on the Saturday or Sunday as do want to see them, also on where my mates want to be
  15. Camped at Pennards a few times but we are talking 10 years ago now since I was last there and it was busy and noisy all night but then I didn't used to need much sleep back then so was all good. You need to get in early to get a spot there

    2024 Moments

I can remember saying this in advance back n 2005 about Clocks then being disappointed about the lack of lasers
  17. EE has been rubbish for me the last couple of years since Vodafone took over
  18. That's the news I've been waiting for!

    Weather v Line up

Ouch that does sound like hard work with a broken toe that year of all years. We were on a coach and had to go from Gate A right to the furthest corner of the festival near Gate D to find somewhere to camp. We got in as the fireworks started.

    Weather v Line up

My first Glasto was 2005 with the biblical thunderstorm early hours of Friday. That was nothing compared to the 2007 washout. 2016 wouldn't have been too bad apart from getting groin strain traipsing through mud on the way in. Also a pain not being able to sit down.Have to say though the last few have been scorching and made it a bit hard work, my other half got sunstroke in 2019. Thankfully I had borrowed a fresh and black tent last year which made morning naps a lot easier. Still would rather have it boiling hot than a wet one. I'm more often than not dancing about to DJ's with a few bands thrown in so line up is definitely not as important as a dry year
  21. 2008 didn't sell out because 2007 pissed it down non stop, it was pretty grim. I didn't go to any festivals in 2008 after 3 very very muddy wet festivals in 2007. Agree re the freedom a weaker line up brings. Still plenty I'll be happy to see and also I'm more often than not found in the likes of The Glade anyway
  22. Agree re Faithless at The Glade on Thursday, will be avoiding that one for sure due to severe overcrowding. Going back to TLC. I got there on my own about 15 minutes before and was on the second front row on the left hand side. I couldn't find my mates that I was looking for but was easy to get there
  23. Agree Justice will be Sunday

    CMAT

Whole show was brilliant. Gossip were also great
  25. Saw CMAT and Gossip last night as part of the BBC music festival, both absolutely brilliant and massively entertaining
