  1. One of my friend's is on loo crew again this year. She did say that she does support them through the year in various ways plus wrote an article about her experience last year that got published. This will be her 3rd time with them
  2. Same predicament here. That Sunday night closing set was absolutely brilliant but it does feel like trying to recreate a previous good time. For me it will probably depend on whether Orbital are on at the Park on the Saturday or Sunday as do want to see them, also on where my mates want to be
  3. Camped at Pennards a few times but we are talking 10 years ago now since I was last there and it was busy and noisy all night but then I didn't used to need much sleep back then so was all good. You need to get in early to get a spot there

    2024 Moments

I can remember saying this in advance back n 2005 about Clocks then being disappointed about the lack of lasers
  5. EE has been rubbish for me the last couple of years since Vodafone took over
  6. That's the news I've been waiting for!

    Weather v Line up

Ouch that does sound like hard work with a broken toe that year of all years. We were on a coach and had to go from Gate A right to the furthest corner of the festival near Gate D to find somewhere to camp. We got in as the fireworks started.

    Weather v Line up

My first Glasto was 2005 with the biblical thunderstorm early hours of Friday. That was nothing compared to the 2007 washout. 2016 wouldn't have been too bad apart from getting groin strain traipsing through mud on the way in. Also a pain not being able to sit down.Have to say though the last few have been scorching and made it a bit hard work, my other half got sunstroke in 2019. Thankfully I had borrowed a fresh and black tent last year which made morning naps a lot easier. Still would rather have it boiling hot than a wet one. I'm more often than not dancing about to DJ's with a few bands thrown in so line up is definitely not as important as a dry year
  9. 2008 didn't sell out because 2007 pissed it down non stop, it was pretty grim. I didn't go to any festivals in 2008 after 3 very very muddy wet festivals in 2007. Agree re the freedom a weaker line up brings. Still plenty I'll be happy to see and also I'm more often than not found in the likes of The Glade anyway
  10. Agree re Faithless at The Glade on Thursday, will be avoiding that one for sure due to severe overcrowding. Going back to TLC. I got there on my own about 15 minutes before and was on the second front row on the left hand side. I couldn't find my mates that I was looking for but was easy to get there
  11. Agree Justice will be Sunday

    CMAT

Whole show was brilliant. Gossip were also great
  13. Saw CMAT and Gossip last night as part of the BBC music festival, both absolutely brilliant and massively entertaining

    CMAT

Saw her last night in Manchester as part of the BBC6 Festival she was ace, it's on Iplayer. Really hoping she's at the farm this year
  15. Been to Bluedot for the day a couple of times and can't be doing with all the families. I wanted to get smashed for Orbital but doesn't feel right in such a family environment
