Set aside time to get lost, for a morning/afternoon/evening explore the crevasses, Glasto is more adult amusement park than music festival and get involved in the randomness that happens. 100% on this for Glasto, wake up early slap it on and forget, normal screen is reapply every 4 Hrs for me that’s 2-3 times a day and I’ll be past caring within 3 hours 😄. Also one less thing to carry. Most info point and welfare offer suntan lotion on a donation basis, which is a good tip if you realise you’ve forgetten and the the other side of the site or can’t be arsed to carry it with you.

I’d love to see Leftfeild again, though very nervous not to tarnish what is in my top 3 experiences of Glastonbury, back in 2000 on The Other stage OMG! The bass that night made my spleen vibrate loose at least twice 😆. I was mid field not near a speaker stack, in complete awe. Such a fantastic performance.

Use what three words or something similar to mark your tent location. You’ll get lost a lot on your first couple days, always good to know you can make it to your camp field and find your tent 😆. your campsite area will change massively over the first day as more tents get rammed in. Too many times have I heard the next morning, I was walking for hours, then spent a life time finding my tent 🤣. But ultimately get some reference points for the weekend, at some point your battery will die so actually know where it is is important 😆.

Whatever you buy trolly or sack truck, buy sturdy, so many cheap sack trucks and trollies die on the glasto trail. But from the look of you initial image you are already. Anything named festival trolly will die 🤣

Personally I’d recommend sack trucks and some large plastic boxes you can stack on them and bungee cord/strap. used something similar to this + two large boxes 40x40cmx100cm for years. On iPhone, you choose/set your primary. You obviously have two numbers. Then when you call or text you can choose your backup line if you want to. Or you can turn off your primary to force everything over if O2 for example are just trash.
