    2023 Stage Predictions

Ah man that Saturday night Prodigy/ Sigur Ros/ Orbital clash can fuck off.
  2. I don’t feel like Ive seen Bastille mentioned and they’re in Dublin on Wednesday 28th and free before that.
  3. This is a shame. What will Bastille do on a Thursday evening now..?
  4. Where would Phoenix fit on the farm these days. I’d have a bit of that.

    The 1975

I was there too. I’d say someone has had a word with yer man about his pothole tendencies. He wasn’t as bad last night. Thought they were really good. If they did a JP set this year as some are predicting I’d be there. I think it’d be all the better for being stripped down staging-wise. Less opportunity for Matty Healy-ness.
  6. Maybe the introduction of The National to Swiftys over the last couple years is having a knock on effect.
  7. Just got the shivers seeing Springsteen has been rehearsing and the tour starts in 8 days. Thank fuck they didn’t do that dynamic pricing lark for Ireland.
  8. As funny as all that is you get a good look at the mirror when you’re first in queue so you can be sure if its working as designed! the real fun would be if it were one of those fancy ones with the switch that can be turned transparent!
  9. I came across one somewhere round Williams Green- The Pyramid at one stage a few years ago. It was on its own so maybe it was a novelty. Had a fairly small queue (I’d say due to people not fancying it), and it was spotless. It’s really weird sitting on the throne and being able to see everything going on on the other side of the door.
  10. Anyone ever tried those ones with the two way mirror as doors? A serious exercise in conquering stage fright!
  11. At that Electric Picnic gig the rest of the band were openly giving out to Julian for the mess he was in.
  12. Don Henley as a Stevie guest belting out Boys Of Summer would make my day to be honest.
  13. Mad keen to see YYY’s at Glastonbury this year. I’ve never seen them live.
  14. Seems to me it’s important in a way that the big bands keep getting the big money. If they were running around doing things for free then probably it wouldn’t make your local village fete expect you and your mates to play for free, but it would certainly have a negative knock on effect down stream on the value put on music as an art, and therefore would probably reduce fees right down the scale.
