Recommended? Not familiar with them. Overall it don't look bad at a first pass. Probably the first time that the headliners across main and big top haven't really grabbed me at all, but plenty there to keep us going. Shame that both Saw Doctors and Richard Hawley are on Friday as it's left Saturday looking a wee bit bare. Need to have a proper run through, but lower down the card does look interesting. As I said to my brother, I don't think we'll find ourselves short of things to keep us occupied between visits to the cider bars and food stalls 😄

Oh nice. I only discovered (for me at least) them recently, replayed the listening party for Let's Get Out Of This Country as I knew the name but they'd completely passed me by.

Been a busy few weeks so not kept up to speed with posting, so going to hit y'all with a bit of a flurry. All been getting a lot of airplay chez Quark English Teacher Beren Olivia - never heard of her before she popped up on Radio 1 Future Sounds. Surprised by how much I like this one, a lot poppier than I'd usually go for Jesus and Mary Chain ahead of new album in March Charlatans' new one is a doozy And last one, some decent pop-punk from Swim School. On tour atm, worth catching.

It's quite niche but just discovered the Prancing Pony podcast. 2 guys going through Tolkien's works chapter by chapter and just talking about what interests them, the language and Tolkien in general. Starts with The Silmarilion so it's probably one for the purists 😂

Had time to listen to that Gallagher / Squire song more. Novelty has worn off now. It's a bit sh*t. Tbh the initial guitar sound from Squire drew me in, but not much after that.

At Glastonbury I think I'd have to say the Coldplay '16 set. The lasers, the wristbands, the Viola Beach "duet"...all really well done. Outside the festival, Lightbox at Vauxhall is a great venue. Walls and ceilings are LEDs, creates an amazing lightshow. There's better pics out there, but this was Teleman back in 2018. 20180704_215948.mp4
