  1. Looks very pretty (much nicer than the contents anyway). Perhaps you could sell it as an art installation?
  2. Also his Tom Thorne detective novels feature characters with stand up comedians' surnames. Haven't read any for a while but I remember Brigstock, Holland, Boyle, Yashere, Porter and Byrne cropping up.

I managed to barge in so the bar was pretty low! All welcome 😊 Hi @lucyginger how are you? Today's sacrifice to the weather gods involved an extremely m*ddy walk.
  4. It's a new one. Running 10th to 23rd April. Again it's coop group only, not independent societies. You can check whether your branch is part of coop group here: https://www.coop.co.uk/store-finder
  5. Coop Group stores have the blue cards. If you check out your Coop branch online it will say whether your branch is part of Coop group or a local society which has its own cards
  6. From this comping website https://superlucky.me/how-to-win-glastonbury-tickets/ Participating coop stores have a message on self service tills about the Brooklyn competition
  7. Not necessarily every store. There are local societies as well the Coop Group. Despite the stores looking identical, ours (Midcounties) has separate membership cards and no reciprocal agreements with the Group regarding offers and competitions. They weren't included in the recent Worthy Cheddar comp.
  8. General tickets have been released, on sale now if anyone still needs
  9. Worthy Cheddar keeps well past its date and is lovely in pasta Alfredo (bacon prawns cream and cheese). There are recipes for cider and Cheddar fondue if you want to go proper 70s retro 😋
  10. Agree it looks best suited to darkness. Maybe a false assumption, but from their position on the poster they'd be sub on Friday, which would be around sunset. Could add to the folk myth vibe?
  11. I listen in the afternoon and some evenings. Could be different in the mornings!
  12. News on 6 music is at 30 minutes past the hour
  13. Channel 4's coverage didn't really register with us. It was BBC radio which got us interested. The BBC build up to the festival is part of the excitement for me. In the years we couldn't get tickets, despite the real pain of missing out, it was still great to see so much on telly. It also gave fellow ticketless efesters something to watch and discuss together.
