  1. My husband proposed to me at the top of the ribbon tower in 2017 , Thursday evening 🙂
  2. For childcare reasons we need to travel back to Castle Cary each night…not late, probably about 8/9pm (I know!!! 😞 ) We assumed we’d be getting the free shuttle to the train station but just spotted the service finishes too early in the day. So I think we’d need to get the free bus to the “drop off & collect point” on the A371 and then a taxi from there. Does anyone know if taxis tend to pick up from there? And any idea how much they might charge to Castle Cary from there in the eve? Presumably not many people would be stupid enough to be exiting at that time of night so hoping we wouldn’t wait long for the bus! Any info would be gratefully received!
  3. A kids inflatable paddling pool is great for this…one of the really small ones. We got ours from Wilco.
  4. Does anyone have any experience of visiting the festival site each day rather than staying on site? We’re having to consider staying off site next year (long story but we’ve got tickets and desperately don’t want to miss it). Looks like there’s a shuttle from Glastonbury Town on Fri/Sat/Sun, but not really sure what the deal is - whereabouts on site do you enter and how bad are the queues each day etc. Fully aware that this is an unorthodox way of doing it but anyone with experience of doing the festival this way would love to hear from you! At the moment we’re thinking about staying in Glastonbury Town.
