If it offers any hope, what happened at Primavera is that thingsp did spread out more with every day. Friday and Saturday of the second weekend basically felt like back in 2018.

At least part of it must be not having been at a big festival for three years. Same story with Primavera. Not saying there aren’t genuine crowd issues but wouldn’t surprise me if crowds we would have considered reasonable before now feel like too much to handle.

Third time this year. I’ve also done Glasto multiple times and other festivals. I’m not saying that there weren’t issues, there clearly were, but the overall amount of people wasn’t one of them for me.

100% I like this setup better too. Just wish they would get rid of the big bar tents and install proper barriers.

Am I the only one who didn’t feel like they oversold? I think the issues were mostly with poor crowd control and the big sound tent / bar area on Mordor that creates bottlenecks on the side. It never felt to me like there were too many people in the site overall. > Just saying - do this in the US and risk getting sued in ways they cannot imagine in their catalonian feel-good-bubble. lmao chill

Really wasn’t that bad. We showed up the watch Lorde from the left side and got a great spot. The big booth in the middle creates a bottleneck though that makes the sides seem extra busy.

In context with some of the other shit they have pulled this year, that is..extremely funny.

Anz was massive. Don’t think I’ve seen a dj set as good as this in a long long time

None of the issue this year were dealbreakers for me so I’ll be back if then lineup remains as convincing. Can totally see why some people are leaving this year disappointed though.

This is going to be little consolation but Anz is massive and she’s playing right after Bicep on the NTS stage.

That’s a shame and it really hasn’t been that way in past editions. Communication has never been their strength but some of the organisational fuckups were unique to this year. Really hope they can turn things around in 2023 because the lineup remains unparalleled.

I love this festival but my god the organisation and especially their communication has been terrible this year.

Busier than past Primaveras? I guess. More so than other festivals I’ve been to? Definitely not. I’ve had scarier crowd moments at Glastonbury.

Showed up at 7:45 and got inside for King Gizz / Slowdive no problem. W1+W2 is a blessing for the city shows.

Has it really? It didn’t feel much busier than at other festivals I have been to.
