  1. Lineup is alright but that poster design is garbage.
  2. Their Slam Dunk show is billed as that.
  3. I hope they stick something else decent on the Sunday. Might try and get a day ticket nearer the time.
  4. Nah, that Friday is perfect now. I was dreading having to skip Fatboy Slim for Idles but problem solved.
  5. How will the Friday shape up? My guess (+ hope): Common: Fatboy Slim, Snow Patrol, Louis Tomlinson. Castle: Idles, Jess Glynne.
  6. He's probably just reminiscing on his time attending R&L.
  7. 6pm on Radio 1? It's Chop Suey all over again.
  8. Fine then. If Dan Wilcox is posting, I'll log back in to eFestivals.
  9. Sacking off the two main stages would be a big step toward getting me to return to day tickets.
  10. It's okay. Am I deluded in thinking my resale chances might have just increased?
  11. I thought the lineup looked familiar.. Sam Fender, Mimi Webb, Tion Wayne, Yard Act, Sea Girls, Hedex, Noisy, Yonaka, Meekz, DJ Target, Central Cee, Nothing But Thieves, Inhaler, Holly Humberstone, Baby Queen, Slowthai, Easy Life, MK, Kennyhoopla, Kenny Allstar, Declan McKenna, Bakar, Becky Hill, Don Broco, The Snuts, Hot Milk, Shy FX, Harriet Jaxxson... All of these acts played R&L in 2021. Two years ago. 25% of all acts announced thus far, excluding the headliners, played the festival two. years. ago. It gets worse too - 16 of those listed acts are booked on the Main Stages. 48% of all of this year's Main Stage acts, excluding headliners, appeared two years ago. For reference, 15% repeat booking rate between 2010 & 2012. I can forgive the smaller acts getting a bump up the bill but how do you book a lineup this unimaginative!? Why reduce the amount of stages on offer and then re-book a signficant portion of a lineup, further limiting the options on offer for regulars? It's bad.
  12. The lineup gets a 0/10 simply for the typeface used for the non-logo acts, who on earth made that decision?
  13. It's an odd choice to stick with the name 'Dance Stage' rather than renaming it to something more appropriate, it's been several years now since they've started to branch out into different genres.
  14. Metallica Slipknot Touché Amoré Ghost Bring Me The Horizon Disturbed Evanescence Pendulum Neck Deep Joey Valence & Brae
  15. Right there with you. As soon as Pendulum were announced I pretty much disregarded them as a thought they were certain to clash with a headliner so that's a big bonus too if so.
  16. Ahh did they!? Absolutely brilliant news if you're right.
  17. Plenty of nice additions: Mammoth WVH, Neck Deep, Coheed and Cambria, Bob Vylan, The Hu. Looking forward to checking out the rest I'm unfamiliar with.
