  1. It's so cool still that the highwater mark of Glastonbury performance videos was set, not by a headliner, not by an all-time music legend, but by Fun Lovin' Criminals performing Scooby Snacks.
  2. https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/areas/silver-hayes/ I was gonna give you a link to google but then checked and found there actually was one 😄
  3. @Col!n I don't think a separate stage is necessary. I don't think there should ever be a main stage siloed by one genre - well except the general theme of the Park and West Holts Stages being 'no Wellends' and all that. About there being days on Silver Hayes, that's been running a couple of years. And there's just going to be more and more. This Saturday: This Sunday: Also this Sunday:
  4. Here it is: Also worth noting that they had Sunday down for 2020 and 2021, although obviously they've moved stages since then so can't say it was always the aim to close out the Woods.
  5. What use is that though? Might as well get the OP list and remove those names from the names on the poster and you'll more or less have your list.
  6. @Guy Incognito In the first few posts on the lineup thread, it said Bright Eyes self-confirmed for the 4th. Has this been debunked? Would plug in the two headliners otherwise.

    Must Do's

Love the farm Leave no trace Help a girl with a hurt arm back to her tent
  8. If Phoebe Bridgers couldn't play at the same time as acts she'd appeared with, she'd struggle to play at all.
  9. Probably true. Strange though. Maybe she's going up WITH Kendrick.
  10. I think Little Simz is open for Sunday again, oddly. That's where she had Sunday booked out. But now...

    Must Do's

Apparently you've got to walk past the site of the old Beat Hotel, stop and dab for five seconds to pay your respects.

    Must Do's

Explore. Create your own experiences. Ignore everyone's suggestions.
  13. Every reunion in the past couple of years has been pretty underwhelming. None of them have played their shows yet.
  14. Looking forward to the period between the single launch and album release, just as a bit of respite from showing each other your lists.
  15. Paul does a Mumford & Sons and close all the other stages down during his set so everyone can enjoy a set together with friends.
  16. I have never seen yours in the field so don't worry - it's not you (yet)!
  17. I don't have a preference at any stage. Mainly just depends on avoiding flags and people with stupidly oversized hats. Particularly eFests flags.
  18. They have their own announcements but will feature a lot of those names. We've had 89 announced. Probably around 80 of whom are going to be on the main 5 stages. The main 5 stages usually have about 130 names I think. So that's around 50 to go - or, percentage-wise - the main stages could be around 62% complete.
  19. We're looking at welcoming one of Meg or Doja on the Pyramid too though. And Sigrid, who wouldn't have been part of the party in 2020 owing to her 2019 slot on the Other Stage.
  20. I hope for her sake she doesn't bring up Yard Act.
  21. She is bigger. The festival doesn't just sort all the names by biggest to smallest and book like that though. The National DID play after Katy Perry. It happened. That's a good point about the set length too actually. Put that in the evidence for the Other Stage slot.
  22. Not saying this at all. She would have a big crowd on the Other Stage, and can put that on the resumé when looking at the top job next time out.
  23. It's not an intimate venue but it's not the biggest stage of all. If her agents are looking at a crawl to the top (the venues, yes) then they're gonna be looking at how Stormzy and Billie did slots on the Other Stage on their way. I feel like you see what I mean and quite possibly agree, but you're shooting it down now so you can push it as your own theory in three weeks' time.
