  1. No. The change was announced the other day. Seems that they're swapping the West Arena and North Stage around.

Yeah that’s shit. I like the horns bit though, that could have anchored a better song.
  3. Thought you meant Ed Sheeran A-Team first seven times I read this.
  4. Hey I picked three albums and none were fucking Inhaler.
  5. Yeahh... but that's also a reason why people would try and falsely pass it off as inside knowledge. (Not NoBuses but someone earlier in the chain)
  6. Did someone say recently that Wolf Alice are Friday? I think them into QOTSA is perfect.
  7. I think it's actually the opposite. I don't see acts like Confidence Man, Dry Cleaning, Squid, BCNR being that early on those stages. So it probably needs to be a little more lowball with some much lesser-known bands in early slots.
  8. Ok guess I'll count them. Just to say, some entries were discounted because of the rules but I don't think they'd have changed anything. 3rd place: Snapped Ankles - Forest of Your Problems It's a great time to be alive for the psych goons in ghillie suits, completing the top three. Tied 1st: Dave - We're All Alone In This Together Voice of a generation and national hero Santan Dave triumphs with the follow-up to his unfollowupable debut, and takes a shared top spot. Tied 1st: Inhaler - It Won't Always Be Like This Bono's son and friends also release album. Some of you liked it and it is joint 1st. --- Albums of the month of the year so far, and contenders for the end of year thing: Inhaler - It Won't Always Be Like This Dave - We're All Alone In This Together Snapped Ankles - Forest of Your Problems Wolf Alice - Blue Weekend Sault - 9 Lucy Dacus - Home Video Iceage - Seek Shelter Squid - Bright Green Field St. Vincent - Daddy's Home Royal Blood - Typhoons Dry Cleaning - New Long Leg The Coral - Coral Island Arab Strap - As Days Get Dark Bicep - Isles Black Country, New Road - For the First Time Nick Cave and Warren Ellis - Carnage Lana Del Rey - Chemtrails Over the Country Club For Those I Love - For Those I Love Mogwai - As the Love Continues Arlo Parks - Collapsed in Sunbeams Shame - Drunk Tank Pink
  9. They won't miss. The last two albums have been superb. They're in the groove.
  10. They do often do that with the top-two billed acts - having them headline the North and East Stages - so it's not too big a surprise. Though, as the new main stage will be where the West Arena was, it'll be the other end of the site. Kind of inconvenient for co-headliners.
  11. If that was the case, they'd likely have US tour dates and be looking to tail back around to Europe. It's very like them to pick up a few random shows for a bit of money. They're mercenaries. No hoity-toitiness about logo sizes, touring patterns, whatever. Pay the fee and they play the gig. They are working on a new album though. Allison Mosshart mentioned it when asked about The Dead Weather earlier this year. Was never likely to be out ahead of R+L but a song debuted wouldn't have been too big a surprise. I assume they'll release in 2022 and properly tour it, with Glastonbury being part of said tour instead of a cash-grab show.

Among that, she shifted around 9,500 vinyls, which makes Happier Than Ever the third-fastest selling vinyl album of the millennium by a female artist, just behind Lana Del Rey’s Chemtrails Over the Country Club and Kylie Minogue’s Disco. (here) So it seems that she had better first-week vinyl sales than huge-selling acts like Taylor Swift and Adele, but just way fewer streams. The total is down 9,000 on the last album too, which is probably the most alarming stat of all. I do agree with what you've both said about the likely impact of not having a radio smash among the singles. Maybe it's not enough to be a household name with the general audience, you still have to give a reason to be interested.

The album sold only just over half what Dave sold the previous week. And as many as the last Yungblud album did. Interesting.
  14. They do sound just like Catfish and the Bottlemen though.
  15. I was just joking with Matty. People can like what they want - and they do. My comment was at the end of the window too so not to influence voting (although I doubt it would've anyway).
  16. Vince Staples releases new song for Pokemon's 25th anniversary. It's super effective!
  17. Very poor. Inhaler? Sort it out.
  18. 1. Clairo - Sling 2. Isaiah Rashad - The House is Burning 3. Drug Store Romeos - The World Within Our Bedrooms
