  1. Went for a wander round Worthy Farm

@BlackHole2006 @GlastoEls Thanks for the quick responses Is there a specific email address to contact the festival office or just the 'Contact Us' form on the official website?
  2. Went for a wander round Worthy Farm

Nice pictures I was going to start a thread asking some questions about visiting the farm but might as well do it here! We're planning on going for a wander round the farm next weekend when in the area visiting friends. Having missed the 2016 and 2017 festivals we're keen to take the opportunity to walk upon the sacred ground once again! Q1 - Where is best to park up and where do we turn off the road (coming to Pilton via Shepton Mallet)? Q2 - Do we need to inform anyone we're going to be walking around? Q3 - Is there a decent country pub nearby for a spot of lunch? Thanks in advance for your help!
  3. First band you saw at Glastonbury

My first was The Darkness in 2003. Seem to remember it being fun at the time but then I was 19 and no doubt already drunk by 11 o'clock or whenever it was they came on...
  4. David Bowie RIP

I thought I'd managed to keep the lump in the back of my throat under control then I finally saw this on Twitter... http://m.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/14196639.Watch_a_fantastic_tribute_to_David_Bowie_from_Kelvingrove_Museum_s_organist/?ref=mr&lp=1 I only started going to Glastonbury in 2003 and saw many great performances but Bowie in 2000 looked amazing. R.I.P Mr Bowie.
  5. The Uber Uber Uber mega list to end all list

Just as well there's scissors and a razor on the list then!
  6. Good post. Remember the clean up crew go through all the rubbish left behind. Don't let them find your full bottles of yellow smelly pee folks!
  7. Hidden Glastonbury

Did you drink some tea with Moonface whilst you were up there?
  8. Last night i watched Jools Holland........... and

Just put it on and it's fucking Mumford and Sons up first! Argh!
  9. Glastonbury food with pictures

My favourite food place last year! That cheese, potatoes and chorizo pictured above looks tasty. How much was that out of interest? Can't see the descriptions to match prices behind the guy!
  10. I've also got that battery charger linked above by Midnight Man. First year I'm going to take a smart phone. More than anything else it's handy for browsing the news in the morning whilst sitting round camp. Who am I kidding? I'll be using it to take loads of selfies to post on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram telling the world what a brilliant time I'm having watching Ed Sheeran on the Pyramid...
  11. Arcade Fire

Absolutely delighted Arcade Fire have now been officially announced. Didn't enjoy Glastonbury 2013 anywhere near as much as previous visits so determined to sort that out next year. My favourite band as one of the headliners should definitely help. That setlist Festhead posted would be tremendous to see.
  12. Glastonbury food with pictures

I think the poster was referring to all the salad that people have picked out their food and left on the ledge that you can see to the left of the woman?
