I think they’re trying to entice an audience that will have some brand loyalty and come back year after year.

I’ve just put on The Last Dinner Party album quickly whilst I eat breakfast and , to circle back to a conversation from yesterday (or the day before?), they sound nothing like Wet Leg 😂 they’re way more grand sounding.

Just found a poster I made months ago and whilst my artist prediction was way off, looks like I was pretty accurate with the staging! The Chevron stage is basically a mix of the Dance and 1Xtra tents, which is what I predicted on my lineup with the BBC Sound Stage.

Let’s have a list of the acts I would see each day and then whose music I need to check out in the hopes I end up liking them. Recommendations are very welcome! I had tickets for that show but couldn’t go in the end!

I think that Neck Deep will headline that tent against Gerry Cinnamon so they don’t clash with Blink.

Spiritbox have a banging slot. I’m going to call Bad Omens getting a third down Main slot in 2025 now.

I still can’t believe Militarie Gun are there. My eyes went straight to those bottom stages and I legit shouted ‘OHHHHH!’ when I saw them. My favourite new band of the last year and one of my favourite albums from last year (made my top 3). OOH OOH!

Get The Story So Far added to the Main Stage on Blink day. They’re over here touring with them anyway. THERE’S NO EXCUSE.

Maybe the stages will work like this: Main - open air Chevron - the old R1 big tent Radio 1 - the old Dance tent FR - same as it ever was I think the only other stage that will get added is the BBC Introducing because why wouldn’t they announce at least some artists for another tent stage if they had one?

Also, it’s really struck me; has R&L exited its Drill phase!?

I think that the festival should give @Benjside of stage access on the Radio 1 Stage all weekend as a thank you for his relentless, admirable (but often bloody annoying 😂) campaign for its return. Hard work pays off, kids.

Definitely not. There’s 8 Main Stage acts on the LG day so there’s probably one more to come on each of the other days. There will be plenty more names added to the other stages too. Most of them only look two thirds full.

It’s a really stacked, brilliantly varied lineup. I’m really looking forward to it.

Bands often play a main stage slot and then a headline slot in that tent later on. Enter Shikari, Jimmy Eat World and others have done so in the past.

Pendulum in the daylight will be absolutely fine.
