  1. TRNSMT Festival 2018

Arctic Monkeys do make a lot of sense. There are a few festivals around that time that have put tickets on sale without announcing a headliner for at least one of the days (TRNSMT, Rock Werchter, Mad Cool, NOS Alive, probably some more), so it seems like there's someone yet to announce their Summer plans who will slot into all of those. Also if the rumour about them doing Tramlines is correct they'll be up and running by then. Could see it being similar to 2013 where they headlined Glasto before AM was released and showcased a couple of new tracks from it, with the album released later in the year and another round of festivals in 2019.
  2. Latitude 2018

Huh? Guypjfreak who started a whole thread about her bringing up her child gender neutral? Wonderwhat you're on about pal.
  3. Latitude 2018

Not sure they'd book her for fear of losing Guy's business.
  4. Lineup 2018

Reckon Stormzy will headline Wireless and not be at R&L tbh.
  5. Latitude 2018

Yeah maybe. Was linking it in with my point about not really being able to think of many likely candidates for V at this stage. Of course if they can bag 3 bigger headliners than her then yeah, fair enough. Fair on the three day thing; I thought he'd confirmed it was going to three days but I've just looked at the article and he only says it's likely.
  6. Lineup 2018

Fair enough but I don't think I've ever heard anything about the sales of shows in America; it's hardly something that's going to be reported over here.
  7. Lineup 2018

London isn't in America, though. If they're headlining Coachella I assume they're a bigger deal over there.
  8. Lineup 2018

    They're headlining IOW. Won't be at R&L.
  9. Latitude 2018

They've gone to three days so it could easily be Flo, Kendrick and another biggie like Drake (dunno if they'd have two hip-hop headliners - guess they've also got Wireless to think of). I think V's desperation to get people in may have a large influence on where FR book their acts. Something like this maybe: Latitude: Catfish, The Cure, Massive Attack R&L: Royal Blood, Foo Fighters, Arcade Fire V: Flo, Drake, Kendrick Wireless: Stormzy, J-Cole, A$AP Rocky Also acts like Kanye or Calvin Harris who could easily take headline slots at the latter two. Trying to think of a big pop act who could do V over Drake but I'm struggling. Swifty's ruled out; Sheeran has a billion stadium dates; Beyoncé maybe if she does any shows on top of Coachella? Eminem did late Summer here this year so probably won't again next year.
  10. Mad Cool 2018

http://www.foroazkenarock.com/t58236p75-mad-cool-festival-2018-entradas-aleatorias-a-160-165-o-175 I just read onwards from this page. 'Bar Tool' is the Mad Cool CM. Obviously needs translating from Spanish but yeah.
  11. Latitude 2018

    Hello Amy
  12. Rock Werchter 2018

Would Muse headline for a second time on the back of Drones?
  13. Mad Cool 2018

I doubt they'd share top billing. Would just be Muse on the top line and Royal Blood below, like Kasabian, surely? Having read further on he says the top line has two E's in it. Edit: He said both acts have an E and there are two E's in the top line altogether. Also at least one of the acts is European. Would rule out The Cure, Florence, Arcade Fire, The Killers, Eminem, Kanye West, The Strokes off the top of my head. Who's left with one E? Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Liam Gallagher (haven't seen this quote where he rules him out), Radiohead (depending on the clue about not touring Spain yet), Jack White. Bored of this now.
  14. Mad Cool 2018

Just remembered The Cure are apparently doing stuff next Summer. Could easily be a co-headliner here I guess.
  15. Mad Cool 2018

Bar Tool also says the two acts haven't played in Spain on their current tours. People don't seem sure whether he just means this year or on the back of the album they're currently touring (they're debating whether Radiohead's 2016 Primavera show rules them out). Apparently rules out Arcade Fire, The Killers and RHCP. Because it's only a one weekend thing, with one headliner playing last (as opposed to at Reading and Leeds where co-headlines usually close one site each), I think it could easily just be a normal headliner (like Arctic Monkeys) and then a sub who are demanding they're billed as a headliner or something. So yeah, something like Arctic Monkeys and Liam Gallagher could work in that way, but someone above said Bar Tool has ruled him out.
  16. Latitude 2018

Would be more entertaining than the Saturday sub.
  17. 2017 on Spotify

Also mostly played The National and Radiohead in my car all year (I still use CDs in my car), so those two have had some pretty heavy listening this year.
  18. Rock Werchter 2018

NIN haven't announced any Belgian dates yet, have they? Thinking of going to Mad Cool, mainly for them, Pearl Jam, Depeche Mode and Qotsa, but if I can get 3 of them plus other goodies like Nick Cave at Werchter then I'd probably rather go there instead. Something like this would be perfect: Gorillaz / Queens of the Stone Age Justice / Arctic Monkeys Pearl Jam / Nine Inch Nails The Killers / Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (LCD Soundsystem headlining the Barn) Only act I wouldn't see on there is The Killers but I fully expect them to play.
  19. Change Name

Hi @eFestivals, could I please get my name changed to Gucci Piggy if possible? Cheers
  20. Lineup 2018

    Booked the wrong Bear band.
  21. Mad Cool 2018

Meh it's big but half of those acts are terrible imo. Wouldn't be seen dead watching Linkin Park, Imagine Dragons or Blink-182, and also wouldn't care about seeing Foos, KoL or Royal Blood. The rest is good but I'll take the Mad Cool lineup so far over it.
  22. Mad Cool 2018

Haha big acts but let's just say I chose to leave them out
  23. Mad Cool 2018

God if the final headliner is Arctics Monkeys then this lineup is mad... Pearl Jam - Justice Arctic Monkeys - Massive Attack QOTSA - Depeche Mode - NIN Plus ATDI, Black Madonna and a few other great acts, too. Realised earlier that my dad keeps nagging me about what I want for Christmas and I had no ideas. I have now.
  24. Rock Werchter 2018

Was Werchter not hot last year? When I went in 2013 it was 35°+ every day and it was unbearable waking up in the tent drenched in sweat.
  25. Lineup 2018

They're a band that needs to stop bothering.
