Doesn't it make you proud Glastonbury Festival were highlighting plastic pollution well before it became a public mainstream concern, both Shangri-la (last year) and the Greenpeace area deserve congratulating for highlighting the plight of the planet for the last few years: https://www.independent.co.uk/environment/plastic-pollution-sea-increase-government-scientists-uk-oceans-a8266356.html?utm_campaign=Echobox&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook

In other news, 15 people including Ruth Potts (from Totnes based Schumacher College) are currently on trial and potentially face life in prison. The group are being treated like terrorists, and face charges as such by the UK Government, for standing up for Human Rights and protesting. These everyday people are facing life in prison just for bringing peaceful awareness to the inhumane deportations carried out by the Government’s deportation regime. https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/uk-mass-deportation-protesters-charged-terrorism-offences-chelmsford-court-dangerous-precedent-a8257211.html
