  1. It's about time Glastonbury struck a partnership with a fruit and veg vendor, as I'm not going to make it to 40 if this is my yearly diet from March-June...
  2. Is it too late to sign up to the spreadsheet for Sunday's sale? Feeling pretty deflated after tonight's sale so looking at any ways to increase ours/your odds!
  3. That's old and inaccurate. Still has question marks against names that have since been confirmed. The actual timings are on the app now and I've noticed already the timings are different on some things.
  4. Crazy when you think those in VIP are more likely to just stroll up whenever they want and will be a limited number of people as it is.
  5. @Ed90 was fastest finger first so he's got the tickets, wish everyone else the best of luck in trying to source some before Saturday. Hopefully there's someone else like me who can't go and also messages in here for you guys!
  6. I won 2 free tickets for the Field Day event on Saturday but unfortunately can no longer go. I'd like them to go to a eFestival member so whoever DM's me first can have them!
  7. Some free tickets (well you pay the booking fee but that's it) on TicketsForGood if anyone works in the NHS/Armed Services. I take it some may given the Blue Light ballot mentions above. It's first come first served though, think only Jungle, Haim and Dermot Kennedy days available last I looked.
  8. Would have loved Chromeo for The Strokes or Jungle day and I think they'd have been better suited for that too. DK one seems random but perhaps just trying their best to sell tickets for that day as guess they're struggling.
  9. I'm actually confused as when I went to play, it said I won a 'super free ballot' but then I could 'claim' tickets for free and somehow it let me on to the AXS page with a code to get the tickets? Feels pretty surreal. Am I missing something?!
  10. Yeah I've been waiting to see if they'd do some kind of deal for that day as well, but if you're right, I think I won't bother as £100 for The Strokes is overpriced as it is, but even more so when you consider the support imo is weak and the sound quality at APE is generally shite. They could definitely learn a few things from Finsbury Park. In fact didn't Strokes play APE in 2019 and lots of people said the sound was that bad, it was one of the worst gigs they've ever been to? Surprised not only are The Strokes doing the same festival again but also that it's nearing on selling out after that.

    My Fat Mistake

I don't like Elton's music and was getting massive anxiety at the size of the crowd and was considering ditching it but glad I didn't as it was one of the highlights of the festival for me. Having said that, also gutted I missed QOTSA, especially after watching them on iPlayer. Think both could have been highlights of the festival but that's probably why they clashed to avoid an even bigger crowd for Elton. Can always watch them in the future too.
  13. I don't know if it's already mentioned but can we also ban giant beach balls too? More people interested in throwing them up for a giant tennis racquet to hit back during The Editors with people just shouting 'wheyyyyyy' every time it was hit back. Listen to their 'Strawberry Lemonade' song on iPlayer and it's particular evident which is just damn right disrespectful to the band. Kudos to the frontman for not making an issue of it, but I think I would've done if people were doing it during my set.

    Odd Moments

I tell you what was odd (although I have also recently discovered this isn't a new thing) was when I was led down enjoying a bit of the old reggae music from Third World, and then the frontman just, out of nowhere, blasts a opera ballad to 'Time to Say Goodbye.' I had to stand up at that point to check what was going on as I had just assumed the act had finished and they invited a random opera geezer on stage to have a chance to sing.

    Odd Moments

Elton is a big Rammstein fan (I'm being serious here), and he'll have chosen the warm up playlist. The song has also been chosen in the playlist for the rest of his tour, and he has played them in his 'Rocket Hour' podcast. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1380188478828589
