    Avalon 2024

The Deep Blue and Haircut 100 are both Friday (from their respective twitters) afternoon and evening respectively.
  2. https://www.theguardian.com/music/2024/mar/14/2024-glastonbury-festival-lineup-dua-lipa-coldplay-sza-shania-twain Idles definitely are the Guardian are not going to be wrong with their festival links: "On the second-biggest Other stage, Idles follow the chart-topping success of recent album Tangk with a headline slot, joined by Disclosure and the National."

Would love Smoke Detector, mixture of their last festival sets with what has had heaviest rotation in Setlists this year.
  4. https://www.theguardian.com/music/2024/mar/14/2024-glastonbury-festival-lineup-dua-lipa-coldplay-sza-shania-twain The Guardian suggest Kings of Leon and Killers in their article, which could be a hint or just looking at here!

Luckily I got that Ally Pally Day 2, would love it again though!

    The National

Looking at their recent Festival setlists and taken into account new songs I expect they will have the top 14 and then 2 from the lower list and then maybe 1/2 newer/random ones. Regardless of anything else I'm glad I'm finishing with my favourite band!
  8. If you mean the one mentioned yesterday https://www.theguardian.com/music/glastonbury-2024
  9. I'm going with fake, its too much groupthink from here, too many things that have been suggested are on there and don't think they will do the stage splits. If wrong though looking forward to finishing on The National!

    The National

Loving the musical variation on these two!
  11. 1. The Hives 2. The Big Moon 3. Editors I really enjoyed the Arctics as well, much more than everyone else it seems!
  12. Sounds like you are 100% on that? If so great stuff best of the rumoured TBAs (unless Pulp do show up but I'm ignoring that for now till we get some real info)
  13. Which one do we think was Slowthai? (sorry might have already been discussed!)
  14. I remember 2016 it must have been walking through The Gully stage area, only to find there was an act on and I was now the only person watching... felt so bad! Emile Sande and Adam Cohen at very different times of the day spring to mind as two small crowds on the main stages.
  15. Is that the Blossoms/Rick A/Smiths info?

    Lost ticket :(

Madness really that there isn't a way of making this a more reliable process in 2023.. I guess they just don't care See Tickets and I expect they would rather just deal with the section 75 credit card claims after the event (always pay on credit card for £100 items even if just a deposit folks so at least worst case you can get your ticket cost back of not everything else) if they've failed rather than spend any effort solving the problem before the festival. This obviously doesn't help for something as hard to get tickets for as Glastonbury though.... particularly as you can end up having to travel a long way with no assurance of getting in!
  17. I'll be sticking around for Wunderhorse, but you are right Saturday is the day I'm least clear on. The two TBAs don't help, but there is nothing I'm desperate to see buts lots of bands in the might see till later on so whichever of those is better may well decide who I see before!
  18. Would love to see the Clashfinder stats on that slot definitely got a lot of competitive options for 11.30 am Saturday!
  19. Full details on this page https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/getting-here/by-bus/ they go from gate A, make sure you get there 10 mins before as it can be a little confusing there are lots of buses!

    The churnups

@sisco you are pretty much always right on these things? Do you have other info beyond the hotel?
  21. Ashl

    The churnups

We have the pyramid from Flea and my random spot of RHCP in the Churnups... beyond that nothing at other than in Europe and free. Blur are equally the same we have a link to Cheese and the fact they are now free. Foos potential hotel thing but last year we had the same from Eminem out of Bristol (which I heard from locals also) so not necessarily on that train but the Churn band link is possible. Otherwise, its Pulp and the denial from Nick does not dent the chances, and not a perfect word play but enough to cause this thread!

Surely not another Elbow secret set wasn't the last one only 2019 so 1 festival ago!?

    The churnups

If I end up being right I'm going to get a framed copy of my post and stick it up everywhere!
