I thought it was a bit scary too, I remember it being very dark and sticky underfoot and loud. Was a great noise though.

It's not as good as it used to be 😉

1990 was quite muddy, not a quagmire, but quite 'sucky'

Yes, it is very sad. It appears if you disagree too much with the sneering bully's who seem to want to police some of these threads then your opinion is not valid and is to be ridiculed.

"I'm an Adventurer, with 69,890 minutes". Sounds like the opening line of my new novel. 😏

Read 'The Old Straight Track' by Alfred Watkins, written in 1925.

Yes, he did. We used to try and think up impossible questions for him to find the answers to. He twigged eventually, but he'd have a go. 🙂

And all the cameras monitoring people, he didn't like those. I suppose it does look like a big 'fun' prison 😃

I went to see Massive Attack at the Steel Yard in Bristol a few years ago. The Steel Yard in particular is a huge space, and pretty soul less. I get that you said a structure 'like the Steel Yard, but I reckon unless you could guarantee to fill a space like that then you might be looking at a pretty poor experience overall. You may as well go back the the huge dance tent of old. An empty structure of that size is really reliant upon crowd mass and little else.
