    thanks to all who replied regarding camping spot, I like going with an idea of where I'm heading and pink is sounding good will have a look at map when they publish it cheers - might bump into one or two of you for a tentside drink - (prob literally - lol!)

    Hi just wondering if anyone can recommend best place to camp - first T in the Park, have splashed out (no pun intended) on one of these fancy wristbands for refresh showers and stuff so don't wanna be miles away. Also meeting up with some friends met at Rockness a couple of years ago we are arriving thu they are arriving fri what are the chances of saving camp space and would there be any probs if we pitched a tent for them?

    Just coming round from my first Rockness fest - what a weekend! Didnt make either of the e-fest meet ups coz am hopeless!! But after experiencing this weekend (8 hour drive and all!) I am speechless - was bloody fantastic, such a friendly crowd and so well organised. Loved it all have been going to another v popular festival for the last 3 years with a very 'big' line-up but this weekend blew it out of the water - respect to you scots you know how to party! Seriously hoping to make next year!

    Cheers for that Coopdawg have called three times today (at great expense!) from my mobile - now picking them up from the box office they didnt seem to have a clue where they were and just kept blaming Rockness - I'm assuming that if it was Rockness that everyone would have the same problem? Ah well heading up tomorrow either way - if anyone has ever turned up at box office and no tix I dont think I really want to know! lol! Heres to a great weekend!

    Ordered and paid for discounted vip tickets through ticketmaster months ago - setting off in 5 days and no sign of tickets and site says order detail not available - last night was being printed - fuming.com!! Anyone else ordered through a discount scheme from employers with no tickets yet? Really unimpressed ticket master usually really reliable!

    I saw kasabian and groove armada last year at v and am really torn between the two but methinks kasabian for friday night - they were awesome last year! Chemical Brothers and the Cribs is a shame but a no brainer for me - wantd to see the chems live for so long!

    giddy as a toddler on a waltzer - but sod all prepared - no ticket yet (well played ticketmaster!) no booze (easy sorted!) still fighting over which tent is best to take! But who cares only 1 weekend 3 working days, a night in the travelodge and an 8 hour drive between me and a very very messy weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woo hoo! :P:D

    Thanks Ali - great advice will investigate the thu nite happenings and certainly avoid the hills! Really looking forward to this, have never been to the area let alone the festival - heard so many good things about both!

    Hey efest campers - have tried to find you (unsuccessfully!) at v for the last 3 years, just kinda gave up pitched tent and started on the beer.....(mind u at least made it to orange last year!) have bought cheap vip tickets through work for rockness this year and am so bloody excited - anyhoo just wondering - have you got a spinoff in vip? and any advice for a first timer? Info seems to be thin on the ground, what time are the acts on/off? and anyone staying in the travelodge night before?
