Birmingham booked - at least something to look forward to in the normally grim month of November
  2. @StoneCircleMany, many thanks for the insider info regarding mobility scooter hire. If I’m fortunate enough to be offered a place I will have to ‘roll with it’ and if I encounter the same problems as you have I’ll just have to walk (scoot) away!
  3. @StoneCircleJust read your posts and that’s all so shocking. That must have been so stressful for you - not once but multiple times! I’ve only experienced the Accessibility campsite/facilities at Glastonbury as a customer and that experience has been exemplary. However, as I haven’t got a ticket this year I have applied to a few of the charities for a volunteer place. However, going on your experience, I will not be able to manage at all! I have severe mobility problems and unable to walk a few steps even with sticks/crutches - I use electric wheelchair or a mobility scooter (hired from Event Mobility). If I am fortunate to get a volunteer place and this is indicative of what could happen, I would have to give up and go home early!

    PA Tickets

It’s looking though the process has changed for 2024. Rather than send in copies of paperwork etc an application will need to be made for a Glastonbury Festival Access Pass if you do not already have an Access Card - https://www.nimbusdisability.com/blog/glastonbury-festival-access-pass-scheme/ https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/access-information/pa-2-for-1-ticket-scheme/
  5. Really? I managed to photograph quite a few of them on Tuesday - I would like this one - how to find out? Fantastic gig - I think this was my favourite since seeing them 12 times since 2010
  6. Who knew? RIP David McCallum
  7. You still have to confirm (if ok) by clicking the green button….
  8. Hello and welcome. There are a few events for Solstice this year in the new Woodsies area - https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/areas/woodsies/
  9. Neil - a big thank you from me too. This forum has been a fantastic resource for me since 2009 when getting tickets for Glastonbury 2010 for the first of many trips. Also who would have thought that a festival forum would have been a ‘go to’ during the dark times of a pandemic! Certainly helped me through the worst of it.
  10. Hi, just one ticket if anyone can help please 48330494 LE18 3PH

Ahhhh - he finally got his beloved Fazioli piano then! https://www.theredhandfiles.com/piano-you-played-for-idiot-prayer/
  13. It was the 2016’s for me. David Bowie, Prince, Alan Rickman and on and on ….
  14. I wouldn’t be surprised if Queeny has held on to finally see the back of Johnson. I think she would hate to think of his ‘showboating’ during any announcements/funeral etc
  15. Unfortunately, there isn’t any info on the website at the moment - fairly sure there will be info available prior to tickets going on sale in October. If it helps, this is the pdf for Access 2022 so not sure if it will change much https://cdn.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/2022-Access-Information-PDF-APRIL-UPDATE.pdf
  16. @incidentMaybe my memory is getting worse but I thought I had a bit of a scrabble for the Sheffield tickets. I was lucky enough to see them a few times on that tour (Primavera, Glastonbury, Wireless, Murcia and Sheffield) and would love to see them again in 2023 particularly at Glastonbury. @Zoo Music Girl - a very tenuous link but Jarvis is on this video so might we get NCATBS as well next year? Now that would be some line up! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=44ZUmL0dIx0
  17. On hols in campervan in Denver (Norfolk not Colorado!) Full sun temp not shade
  18. What criteria are you using to evaluate the benefit?
  19. I love the pier. Both in 2019 and more so this year with all the additions. It’s part of what I adore about Glastonbury - so many different areas appealing to so many different people. Personally I don’t go to the Silver Hayes/Glade areas but I would never dream of promoting their cancellation because they aren’t my ‘cup of tea’
  20. So would I, but he seriously can’t stay until Autumn
