  1. Says the man who wets his pants if he asked to wear a mask for five minutes.
  2. You repeat those words like a prayer. You are actually really scared aren't you? Look, no one knows what is going to happen this winter. Hopefully things will turn out well. But they if don't, and restrictions are bought back in, even if god forbid there is another lockdown, you'll most likely be fine.
  3. According to this, one billion pounds will run a large hospital, it gives the example of the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust -for a year. https://www.kingsfund.org.uk/audio-video/key-facts-figures-nhs So you would need to eliminate I make it 3333 managers paid £300000 to run one large hospital for a year. They may or may not earn their money, but executive pay is a red herring with regards to NHS funding. It is the desire for easy answers like that which gave us brexit and Boris Johnson.
  4. Oh wow map up already is it? Thanks.
  5. Shh, don't tell everyone! Thank you if I go next I'll keep that in mind. And hopefully next year the toilet situation will have improved anyway.
  6. It is the queuing that worries me. Sometimes, especially in the morning I need with very little notice to make a sit down visit. The old quiet camping was great-even at the busiest times there would be at worst a very small queue.
  7. How early was it? Also, does anyone have strong opinions about the new camping layout? (I didn't go but I am figuring out whether or not to go next year having been a regular for a number of years. The toilet thing would be make or break for me if it isn't sorted. I know there are reasons there were not so many this year as before).
  8. Interesting that there are a lot of tickets on twickets still available... perhaps I could still go after all. My memory is, having bought tickets from twickets in previous years is that this time of year they went as soon as they were put on the site.
  9. I'm not going this year, but if I was that would annoy me I think. It looks like the area I usually camp, by the monument, is now boutique camping. Liked that bit because there were a lot of toilets so not much queuing in an emergency..... Be interested to hear how it goes. Does look like a lot of space given over to boutique camping at the expense of the plebs.
