  1. If Stormzy and Paul Kalkbrenner are the two big names still TBA, I think that we will get the rest of the line up after Core Festival (27 & 28 May). I am still curious about the ticket selling of the Main event.
  2. Hot Chip have self-confirmed (I think that they were not in the first announcement) https://www.hot-chip.co.uk/index#shopify-section-1610384634cc365d35
  3. I have the feeling that the ticket selling is not working well. It's strange that the camping in front of the site is not solt out yet. There are still lot of hotel rooms available in Hasselt, something imposible to imagine a few years ago. I am sure that if some of the Hear Hear bands would be in the Main Event, the ticket selling would be much better. I am willing to go back to Pukkelpop after 5 years, but I can't find lot of stuff in the line-up that convince me to spend 215€ in a ticket. So, I will wait to the next line-up announcement, but I think that Hear Hear will be my choice if there is public transport to arrive to the festival grounds and go back to Hasset.
  4. 51 bands including Muse, Jamiroquai and Biffy Clyro. Today 26 will be announced
  5. How about the undercard? A+ again? 🙂
  6. The Hives are playing in Italy The day before the new event, were booked for PKP 21 and have no other belgian date in summer. They could fit well for +40 people.
  7. I have a feeling that the new event will have everything i am missing in the Main Event, and at the end I wont attend none of them.
  8. Rock names to satisfy Slipknot fans that pay 115€ for a day ticket?
  9. I think that there are not enough rock/metal/punk/hardcore/garage bands in the line up to fill a "new shelter" stage during 3 days...
  10. Shelter? Maybe for August 14th?
  11. Maybe what has not been announced yet are bands that are playing other belgian festivals? There is one strage thing in the line-up. Every day we have a big rock name topping the bill (Slipknot, Limp Bizkit and BMTH) but there are not similar bands in the smaller names. What it going to do a Slipknot fan the rest of the day? It's is hard for me to understand why removing shelter stage but still booking big rock/metal bands. I am sure that the festival will get sold out really fast, but I would like to see the line-up from the day-event (August 14th) before taking a decision. I have a feeling that the day event line up will be full of interesting bands for my musical tastes.
  12. What can we expect from PKP line-up? Whats your opinion about It? Is there a nice undercard for older visitors?
  13. Is it coming back? Are you sure about it? It would be so great!
  14. @DDave must be devastated for Snow Patrol loss. Sorry, mate!
  15. Anti-Flag announced their long European Tour for this summer. No Belgian date and a one show TBA for 20th August. Pukkelpop booked them in 2008 (Marquee totally packed), 2009 (Main Stage) and 2014 (Shelter Headliners). Maybe it is time for them to comeback to the festival to take the punk early slot in Main Stage (as Pennywise, Flogging Molly and NOFX did in the last 3 editions and Heideroosjes was supposed to cover in 2021)
  16. It is interesting that this year bands like Kings Of Leon with other shows in Belgium in summer are playing a few weeks after in belgian festivals. So, maybe we can get headliners or big names with other festivals or gigs announced in june/july in Belgium. So, it is posible that there will be a big crossover between Pukkelpop and Rock Werchter.
  17. Wow! Lot of money spent by Sziget on healiners!
  18. What a great idea. An one day event or more than one day?
  19. I went for Suede, Pixies and Bad Religion in my wishlist.
  20. I think headliners will be between these names: Arctic Monkeys, Bastille, Kings Of Leon, Major Lazer, Oscar And The Wolf, Editors, and some hip hop as Stormzy or/and Future. Not so promising...
  21. My experience in Ticketswap has been positive both times I have used it. Almost face value and legit tickets. I've never been to Werchter but in Pukkelpop, also in Belgium, your ID is checked and if the name in the tickets is different from your ID you cannot enter to the festival.
  22. This is the time of the year when you see lot of great old bands touring in August and you dream that some of them will be at pukkelpop. This year you have Kraftwerk, Iggy Pop, Suede, Pixies, Bad Religion... Then Lokerse Feesten starts booking them one by one. The last step is Pukkelpop first announcement that brings you back to reality and wakes you up from that dream.
  23. Triggerfinger are playing in France the day before Pukkelpop begins...
