i shared a lift last year, was awful, the people listened to nothing but Tool, Arcade Fire and some shit band called the Mars Volta. They thought they were cool because they talked about getting stoned for 4 days straight infront of their mum.. who stopped the car to give a lecture and threatened to turn round.

Travelling to Leeds from Stirling on the Thursday after work.
Willing to offer a lift if anyone fancies chipping in for diesel.
Must warn you though, 2 over 35yr old ladies with attitude!!

i shared a lift to Glasto earlier this year and it was great fun !!
we messaged a bit and met up a coupla weeks before hand. we were same age same situ (going alone over 30's nutters!!). it was great fun !! i slept at her house the night before and we got giddy then set off at the crack of dawn.
id had a great nights sleep and she'd not slept well so i actually drove. we picked up a couple who'd asked for a lift on the efestivals forum too and all just chatted all the way there. The woman and i actually set up tents near each other so we'd say hi every now and again....
On glasto they have a thread for lifts and it was SO easy to do. id recommend it to anyone (with the messaging and meeting up first!!).

Thanks for the info, Leeds fest site have links to a couple of lift share sites so I'll see whats what. Good idea to do a bit of checking out first- thanks for the tip!
