ok, well we were gonna fly out to valencia, but we have left it too late and its well expensive. So we have decided to opt for the alicante route, but seen as though none of my party have flown to alicante and gon to the festival, we dont know how easy it is to get there...or how you get there?


it does suggest flying there on Fibs website, any help would be absolutely amazing!

You can get a bus into Alicante from the airport.....easy....

....then a train direct from Alicante to Benicassim.....here is the train website:-

Sorry, should probably add that they don't sell tickets to English residents, and they only release tickets 62 days before you intend to travel.

What days are you flying or planning on going to Beni? If you going Monday 14th, Tuesday 15th or Wednesday 16th you will be able to just walk up to the desk in Alicante train station and get your tickets there and then....

.....if you're not travelling until Thursday 17th I would deifinitely book in advance as this is when most of the Spanish will be going......

....there is an English website / company who can sort out your train tickets:-

....however, they can be hard to get hold of and they charge a commission......but at least this will give you piece of mind that it is sorted.....also they will post the train tickets to you in England....

Only 20 mins of so....

....to be honest if there's a few of you a taxi only costs €15 and that way you get straight to the train station....

.....not sure what your spanish is like, but everyone speaks English at the airport and train station, so it's no real hassle....also all the info is in English

Other option is to hire a car which will work out cheaper then bus/taxi and then train tickets if you have a full car. You gotta be over 21 remember but its great having a car with air con. i know some peeps who went back to there car during the day to sleep with the aircon on.

im flying to reus, it seems the cheapest option, there are coaches going to the festival from tha airport by a couple of companies. also there is a train link from reus to tarragona then to beni. try ryanair

We are running Airport transfers from/to Valencia Airport and REUS (Barcelona) Airport to Benicassim and Oropesa.

We also have available, accomodation at Marina Dor Holiday Village , Oropesa del Mar, near Benicassim.

And we will run during the festival days, a regular Bus shutte service from Marina Dor, Oropesa del Mar to the FIB.

I've tried both of these sites and can't understand how to book the train tickets from alicante to benicassim, or even how much it costs! I haven't booked my flights yet as I'm trying to work out if it will be cheaper to drive if theres 5 of us. Do the trains run regularly? Should I avoid getting a very early/late flight? If anyone can help i would really appreciate it! thankyou!

.....the train times should come up. As I said you can't by tickets until 60days before....

Why not fly to Madrid?

Much easier than Alicante...can get a bus direct from Madrid to Beni...easy!!

Indeed it is true. I live in Madrid and got the bus last year, will be getting the bus this year. A few friends from the UK are also flying in to Madrid and will be getting the bus.

I searched from London to Madrid leaving 13th July and returning the 22nd and got a price of 68€....thatś about 45 quid to you.

Then, you can use a company called http://www.auto-res.net for the bus from Madrid, direct to Beni. Takes about 5 hours with a stop off 1/2 way. Nice comfy, modern coaches with a movie (in spanish) and stuff...and itś always full of lots of other festie goers so you get to meet a few people along the way I think itś costs about 50€...but you cannot book them until a month before...so this gives you some time to sort stuff out. Don´t worry...they won´t sell out..
