Okay, so it's only 139 days to go until the start of the festival...
I think it's about time we had a look at the forecast...
http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/event_...asp?eventID=420Looking good so far, could do with being a bit warmer though!

Just as long as it isnt windy. Dunno if its true or not, but someone once told me wind is pretty much the only thing that can cause the festival to be cancelled 'cos of how massive the main stage and tents are. Would need to be pretty damn extreme to make things unsafe though...

Last years Leeds Fest was made with the weather. Thursday especially was ace once we'd set the tent up and spent the rest of the day in the heat!

think it was 2006, a week before the festival checked the forcast, was supposed to hammer down the whole weekend, went out bought a new tent, waterproof jacket, wellies etc and then got totally sunburnt on the friday morning (didn't take suntan lotion). only rain we got was the sunday night for the artic monkeys and muse while my waterproof jacket was safely tucked away in my tent

I got so sunburnt on the first day last year!
The bad thing was I had largish black sunglasses on so as soon as i removed em i looked like an ffing panda!
It was so bad even if it was cloudy I had to keep my sunnies on just cz every other randomer came up, pointed and laughed at my face.
Even the burger man did it!

I wouldn't really call it rain on sunday night..... it was more a full blown thunder storm!!! It was pretty good watching Muse in it however... even though loads of people seemed to leave when the storm started
I was happy that my new waterproof jacket did its job well. I wasn't happy that my waterproof tent didn't turn out to be very waterproof though
I didn't enjoy sleeping in the big puddle

Any chance someone in Leeds fancies telling me what the state of the campsite is at the moment?

I've got a pair of wellies on standby, just wondering whether to get them ready. Someone said it's going to bucket down (like it was here before), so I'll have to keep my eyes on Metcheck
