has anybody ever flown to alicante....just wanted to know how easy it is to get to the festival.....

just valencia flights are well expensive

i don't know about trains but you can definitely get the bus from alicante to castellon, takes a couple of hours but is dirt cheap, then you can either take a local train to benicassim or get a taxi (think it cost us about 20e in 2006)... or hire a car from the airport, its about a 3 hour drive to beni... hope that helps!

its just the last two times ive been we have flown to barcelona, and its such a drag trying to get down to beni, all the trains are always booked up, so thought that this might have been the quieter option! the cheapest flights ive found to valencia are from gatwick and change at madrid, and they are 180.......id rather get a cheaper flight to alicante and get the bus


i was hoping FIB might have put buses on as it suggests to fly there! ahh well

I flew to Alicante last year and hired a car and drove up, was ok driving there, but i was fooked driving back!

Flying to Barcelona this year and either getting the train or the coach transfer thats been advertised on this forum.
