Hey off to Benicassim for the first time
Having some trouble booking flights
Any help would be great.
I'm confused because i wanted to head to Valencia and then get a train but its quite pricey now, so proberly get flights to Barcelona, then a train from there.
Although when booking flights it gives two airports for barcelona (Girona & Reus)
Which ones better linked with Beni? The place i've found to book train tickets says from
'Barcelona Sants - Benicassim'
Guess this is barcelona south? but which Barcelona airport.
I'm in a bit of a muddle

so if you can help thank you.
Also anyone want to help me find cheap flights

Barcelona Reus is the central one, I flew there last year. Then u could check if theres a bus to the Barcelona sants station from there. But if u go to the city centre instead u could get a taxi to the station its not far! did it last year. hope that helps

Its not confusing...
Fly to Barcelona Reus, get the bus to the train station or a taxi if u can afford it. If ur spending time in Barcelona city before then get a bus/metro/taxi to the station. Simple.

Hi,
For all of you that can´t get flights to Valencia (the best option, even if flying a day or two earlier) don´t fly to Girona, it is to far forthe festival area. Your best airport is REUS, near Tarragona (approx 185 kilometers from Benicassim) from Reus go to Tarragona, and from tarragona, get a train to Benicassim or Castellón (castellón is about 10 miles from Benicassim.
The train ticket from Tarragona to Benicassim/Castellon, varies from 11 euros to 27 euros, depending of the trein. You may find useful information visiting www.danespfib.com
Hope that I have help you.

Last year i flew to Barcelona (reus), and and got a quick train from reus station ( about 2 min walk from airport) to barcelona saints which is where you can get the train to beni from!! Make sure you book your train beforehand from the uk! Last year i didnt and had to get a train to castellon which is about a 25 min taxi ride to beni!
Hope this helps, in a rush to get out and the moment but if you want some more info or if i wasn't clear just let me know

Hi, I don´t know what is the point of going to barcelona 75 kilometers north to take a train that has to come back 75 kilometers, when you can get the train at Tarragona on the main line Barcelona to Valencia, save two journeys of 75 km and the cost of the journeys. Not ofence but I live in castellon, and to go to barcelona, I dont go to Valencia to catch the train. more info www.renfe.es

Reus / Barcelona Reus are the same airport. Just like the "Glasgow" Prestwick idea

Hi,
Lets clear the confusion.
Barcelona only has one airport. It is called EL PRAT (serves Barcelona metropolitan area and has fligths to all over the world , the equivalent of BARAJAS in Madrid)
Girona has one called GIRONA (serves mostly the Costa Brava holiday areas)
Tarragona has one called REUS (serves mosthly Costa Dorada and parts of the northern part of Costa Azahar)
The last two Girona and Reus since the arrival of low cost airlines like Ryanair, Easyjet and similar have also been called (by the low cost airlines) Barcelona airports, nobody in Spain will agree to this, as we do not have three airports like London (Heathroww, Gatwick & Stanstead) !! or there is 6 ?? what about Luton and Docklands?.
Are we on agreement now? ... by the Way Girona is approximately 115 km from Barcelona

Ahh now i see!!! In that case Oropesa is definatly correct!! Last year i was told to go up to saints to get the train but that is clearly wrong i would have been far better getting to benicassim from Tarragona!

Hi Again.,
I am running Airport transfers from Valencia to Benicassim & Oropesa. If there is enought demand, I am also planning to run Airport transfers from REUS (Barcelona!) to Oropesa & Benicassim.
Please let me have your opinion.
We also have available to rent, two bedroom apartments sleeping up to 6 persons.
