Have you (or anyone else) been before? I was wondering if there's much in the way of Sonar style pre-festival parties or is it a much more low key affair?

Rich, I've been to dissonanze and it was amazing. It's one of the best festivals i've ever been to. The locations are super, not to talk about the artists' lineup. It's smaller than Sonar but more precious, the main location - Palazzo dei Congressi - isn't huge and unoriginal as a big fair: it's a major architectural spot in Rome. Moreover, Rome is a wonderful city to spend some days in, there are other parties, concerts and stuff around the city, but most of all may is the best time to really enjoy the marvellous city spots.
I think if you're never been, you have to go, it will be a fantastic experience!!!

Does anyone know how the ticket collection works here, I don't much fancy having to stand in a HUGE queue like I did at Sonar a few years back? Can you collect them before the day of the festival?
