Not wishing to seem that I'm not in the festival spirit but is there anywhere near to Roskilde to stay hotel or hostel wise.

Getting on a bit now wink.gif well, I'll be 30 on the Saturday when I'm out there.

If there is none how good is the camping, been put off by the scorchio-ness of Benicassim in recent years.

There are reasonably priced hotels in central Copenhagen and it takes about an hour by train (and bus or train) to festival site. Getting back really late at night could be sometimes bit tricky as trains/buses can get overfilled. Usually works out OK though with a little patience.

We've not been for a few years but when we last went, the camping was fine. Good friendly peeps, love their beer, SKOL! You'll hear that constantly.Anyways We took our 9,15 and 16 year olds had an awesome time ,no family camping so mucked in with the rest twas all the better for it i reckon. So there you have it Easy ,go camp you'll be very popular ,they love to practice their english. As for the weather it's similar to England but don't let that put you off!
